Troy and is family are some of the best people. While he was in Pittsburgh, his wife and himself where eating dinner at the same restaurant as my family. Everyone in the restaurant knew who Troy was, but the fan base respected him so much, no one bothered them during their dinner. When it was time for my family to leave and get the bill, the manager told us Troy paid for everyone in the restaurant. He appreciated everyone just letting him have a normal night out with his wife. I was probably 10, and it's something I'll remember for ever
You don't have to be an asshole to be a menace on the field. A lot of those guys are putting on an act anyway, that's why Troy just being his authentic self is dope.
My cousin worked in the Pittsburgh hospital where Troy’s wife delivered their child. She walked into the room and Troy was there and all my cousin could say was “wow... you are beautiful.”. She said seeing him in person was incredible.. not because he was “a celebrity” and famous but because of how beautiful he was and even moreso at the birth of his child.
It’s crazy- as soon as I hit REPLY to that comment, I got up and walked to the other room and Troy flashed on the tv at the end of a Head & Shoulders commercial. Crazy
