Thousand Lakes rally or NZ rally , even Estonia is a greater rally ... for the cars though, Africa deserves its only WRC Rally, one of the oldest on the WRC calendar, a true test of car like Dakar!

Wow...!! Its absolutely amazing to watch these drivers on the limit. Some roads are not even visible. Its a shame for Esapekka Lappi having a mechanical issue. But Oliver Solberg is having tremendous pace in a Rally 2 car.

Amazing to say the least
It is so impressive to see this car all over the place, but camera shows how remarkable suspension these cars have. I am curious how exactly "comfortable" these cars are.
People behind building these cars don't get paid enough. I rather rally people get f1 salary. Because f1 they go round same track. These guys have to keep car on the road and driving on the limit. And I remember Ford with Mcrea winning with a car just built that year it was a tough car. Toyota is a strong car I think all 3 can do well
I believe, that these cars aren't build to be ''comfortable''. 😉😁😁
A thoroughbred is also far from comfortable yet it wins millions of bucks for the Jockey and the owner.

I literally opened RUclips and seen that the stream which I wanted to watch ended just 1 minute ago. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
ten years ago you couldnt even see it other than TV, 5 years ago maybe you could see an upload a few days later, today you can watch the replay right as its happening :) its not so bad

God if stages are like shakedown they be popping out like pins on a bowling ally. No Road just grass basically. Braking on grass on slick type tyres the car will over shoot. That and deep sand. The winner of this rally will probably be a smart person who doesn't go on the limit. Might suit leading car for Friday

Jordan Serderidas should drive after the rally 2 cars. I'm not happy Iv to watch him 1st on the road. I understand he is important to Ford because it pays wages to Ott. But man come on. Also the wrc app in smart tv goes dark when I press a stage. Does any foreign channel show live stage. If i owned uk sports channel I'd buy the rights to show live rally all because it would add more eyes 👀 and hopefully build the sport to where it was in 90s. With more than 3 teams. Fia should let UK and Ireland be available to see rally 24 hour channel. Even though I bought a month for all live I hate watching on my phone so I'll have to get a dodgy box and watch it live In French or Greek lol 😅

There is something about him not compeeting for wrc2 point
There is no "Rally1" category for drivers. Orange colour means overall category where ALL cars compete. Since Oliver is not scoring points for WRC2 this rally, hes only racing for overall points. Constructors however have their own category for Rally1.
Am i right in thinking he didn’t bring his car to kenya and was gifted the rally 2 car to compete?

Did they somehiw fixed and leveled roads, as i remember wrc left kenya, because of horrible roads and destruction of car chassis and everything else.

Ott Tänak cuts the grass in the turns and can punish himself in the end. I suspect it may be both one and the other hidden in the edges. 🚗💨💨🌾🦣🦏🍌🪨🪵🏁
Kalle knocked down that one corner marker Tänak and Ogier at least cut that corner quite heavily.
Drivers can cut corners where there is no corner markers as there are long parts in safari rally where cutting is like not going off the road at all.
@@SipuliSankari If a corner marker is gone, no one knows what hides inside where it stood. 😉
