Hogans only British Open which he played. He won. He missed the rest due to WW2 and a scheduling conflict with the PGA. If he won a fair share he would be equal with Tigers 15 majors. I am convinced Jack is the GOAT but I struggle with putting Tiger at number 2 because of all of Hogans missed tournaments. There were no majors during WW2. So he missed 12 other majors not including the British Open.
Hogan was the best to ever play Carnoustie. One and done. That was Ben.
Just fantastic...love these pictures.
Fantastic. Thank you.

Just love the aura about this video of the great man!
brilliant!!! great shots thanks Bradley
Hogan the best ever…If not for the war and the accident and had access to all the major would have won 10 US Opens and 25 majors.
The game of golf seemed more pure back then, like Hogan's swing, which had a purity all its own.
The most brilliant golfer ever.
Awesome
A golfing God
Played with Peter Thomson and never spoke more than two words to him… focused 🤔
Pity the whole tournament wasn't on film.

The car wreck didn't help either. He maybe had the greatest run golf has ever seen from 46 to 53.
