- Taiwan has been rocked by 180 earthquakes in 24 hours including two above magnitude six.
Two buildings are tilting dangerously to one side, but authorities say they were empty, and no one has been injured.
This comes almost three weeks after a 7.4 magnitude quake hit the country, in which 17 people lost their lives, and two Australians are still missing.
Authorities have suspended the search for the Australians because of the risk of further rock falls and heavy rain, which will set in for the next few days.
These latest quakes serve as a reminder of the danger that still exists for rescue personnel as Taiwan seeks to recover from the deadly earthquake.

That's because pretty much everyone is fine in Taiwan. Aside from a few buildings with damage, no one's really that affected by it... But on a psychological level...cant say everyones the same.

Joking aside, the technology to create earthquakes really exist but i don't know if it has ever been used as a weapon before. We know Taiwan is a very important country for different world superpowers, so I'm just saying if Taiwan keeps shaking then it seems suspicious. A lot of egos are at stake
I'm so glad nobody was hurt, that's pretty much a miracle. The Taiwanese government is doing a great job of protecting it's people.

That's what I've been wondering... my earthquake app has been going nuts today. Been expecting to see that 8.0-9.0 pop up all day. Thankfully for the people there is hasn't happened. Hopefully doesn't.....

@@rhyno1740 Well………..Then I’ll tell you something as a Taiwanese, in the past decades of records(scientific measure instrument records) . We got over 20000 earthquakes in average “per year” and about 400 of them are sensible earthquakes which means they got magnitude over 4.0

I am a religious person also. I worship God too. One of the very painful thing I know is Chinese are digging a hole deeply now on the earth. The hole had hurt earth very severely at that time. They don't stop now. I knew this last years. Now there were more severely damages such as earthquakes in Japan, U.S, floods, tornadoes... that have happened and are going to come. The earthquakes covered the large areas which is very weird and big. That is very very scary. Earth gives us everything, we can live our lives. We can not destroy environment. If we destroy the environment. It is like we destroy our future foods, air, houses... We need to think how the animals are going to live and the plants also. We must protect earth, so we can live, and all can live. We cannot just wait to see those things happen.
