It's so odd to see an Amtrak over on Track 2, even if it's one that isn't 'supposed' to be there. With the length of the train, it wouldn't surprise me if it was crossing Beryl before the end had cleared the station. Unfortunately, I didn't hear about the rerouting until after it was cleared. :(
Quality video! I really enjoyed it. And I often watch the Virtual Railfan Ashland Va cam.. So glad you got to see the AT slip through your area. Can u believe some passengers thought they were hostages? Lol.
I was amazed to hear that the train was coming through Raleigh. I heard about the reports of the "hostage" issue and laughed. I felt bad for them being on the train for so long but that got a good laugh out of me.
