Correct. You need to hold both pedals down until the message Service resetting come up then you should see service reset. Done

I have a 2016 discovery sport like the one in this video, and as per the video, it doesn't come up with a message saying "Service resetting". I think maybe they are different in different years.

I've tried it a thousand times and it doesn't work yet the message appears.

Why do you think it hasn’t worked ? I’ve tried it about 5 times. Once I restart car again it comes back .
