Finally the video I have waited to upload and make for a while. This is a new version of World Warrior Sheng Long. More like his Legend is more faster and more stronger fire balls and his Flaming Shoryuken. Also some vs screens are different cause for some reason this Mugen only has vs screens for Ryu, Ken, and all 4 of the bosses. Idk why this is but I edited other ones to make it feel like world warrior also adding the real CPS1 music rather than just adding the CPS 1 remixes by 8-Beats VGM.
The reason it took me so long to make the video is that the boss Sheng Long is pretty broken. When ever I fought most of the characters with certain moves they would fly in the air or float down and Id have to restart the round or close the Mugen. Although after quite a while I managed to beat it and have barely any glitches working on strategies and making this video. Also this one did have a barrel stage but it was not like the arcade version so I didn't even bother recording that stage. More Videos coming Soon.

Wow, this takes me back. I still remember when I unlocked him in the arcades in the early 90s. He didn't play as well as I had hoped, but still fun.
Oh yeah, same here as 90's kid. I remember walking into that arcade and quickly entering the sacred input, down R up L Y B 5x in under 5 seconds to unlock Ryu's master, Sheng Long. Back then we were too poor to play an infinite number of games if required so we'd tie strings to washers and yank them out to reuse them.

@Ron742 it was a joke on an issue of electronic gaming monthly, eventually Capcom took note and created Akuma for ssf2turbo, and 10+ years later created this character but under a different name and not street fighter 2. The character you probably selected was Akuma. On ssf2t, character selection code starting with T.Hawk
It's crazy cause as a kid I was an actual sf tournament pro. But never saw this guy or heard of him until literally almost 30 years later.. and I thought akuma was the strongest. This guy does an upside down tornado kick. And has all akuma stuff with the fire uppercut.. amazing. And I'm just hearing bout this .
Oro from street fighter 3 is the strongest fighter as he only fights with one hand he's like ryu and akuma combined in one body

Yeah, but funny enough. Sheng Long was suppose to be in Street Fighter the Movie the game. But was unfortunately left unfinished due to time constraints.

The fury of Sheng Long : Throwing double fireballs, upside down tornado spinning kick, and quick as a cat and best of all he knows how to talk trash while being noble still (that's awesome): "Respect your elders". I suppose that this was RYU's mentor?!! i actually just recently noticed that Ryu would mention his name in the original and i had no idea who he was talking about, till now.

The music to the end credits is like a perfect remix of kens theme though.
Ken and balrog goes completely berserk when you get them at low health........ the highest jumpers on this game 1 m.bison 2. Chun li 3. Vega

Sheng Long is actually Gotetsu master in Assassin's Fist movie.. He is the master from Gouken's master
Idk, I think they only added on the movie for the fans. Sheng Long is not an official character.
@@GekiPurple There's an Easter egg in the movie when Ryu and Ken check the Ansatsuken master board. The name of Sheng Long is before Master Goutetsu

I added the music in myself, I just muted the mugens music and added the old warrior music.

Just for fun: But in todays romanizations of chinese names, his name is spelled Shenglong or Sheng-long. Its only his given name. All SF2 characters are only listed either by their given name or surname, like Ryu, Ken, Guile, Zangrief, E. Honda, M. Bison, Sagat, Vega, etc., nobody is listed with given- and surname.
This is why Chun Li or Fei Long should also be spelled Chunli and Feilong, because its only their given names, not a given name and surname.

@cenkdemir6803 Well, Sheng Long, no joke was the inspiration for Akuma. So him and Gouken are the closest you'll get to having Sheng Long as a Playable character.

The funny thing is, Ryu was referring to having to beat his Dragon Punch to stand a chance, Sheng Long was another name for the move, it was never supposed to be a person.
Admittedly, like alot of people, I did think Ryu was originally referring to another person in his post match comment, like some special guru you had to fight before you could even qualify to think you could beat him.
Yeah. Funny enough though, Sheng Long, no joke was supposed to be in a SF game. The developers of SF the Movie The Arcade Game wanted Sheng Long for the game since they did add Akuma to the game despite not being in the movie. But he was left on finish due to time constraints. Although he is mentioned in Ryus, Kens, Akumas, and Bisons endings in the game. So sucks it never happened.
How you were supposed to get Sheng Long was to go through the game as Ryu and perfect every match. Then at M.Bison some how go for 10 matches in a draw. Then and only then would Sheng Long supposedly make an appearance!
Indeed, and he was also rumored to have Fireballs, faster than Sagats, and Kicks, deadlier than Chun Li's. And as the we can see in the manual "screenshots" his Upside Down Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, and Flaming Shoryuken.
That was an April fool's joke by the gaming magazine. Shen long never existed.

this isn’t gouken. the creator know shenglong is shouryu. this character is expanding the joke on the original quote “you must defeat sheng long to stand a chance” that appeared in some versions of sf2, which confused many non-mandarin speakers and generated lots fan theories in the early days.

The boss version of him which I played as is overpowered that's why this looks like it was on easy, he's pretty cheap. Although he is hard to fight as well. I had this on Medium lol

Because at the time, they were the same character sorta. But they became unique in their own ways as time went on.
