I've really taken a liking to Jason Mantzoukas recently. He's funny, very real, and seems nice and genuine, not like a lot of the characters he plays. He did a great video for that record store where they show what kind of music they listen to it. I forget what it was called but he's got really interesting and diverse taste too.
It's the Amoeba "What's in my Bag" series! They always have such interesting people & it's a fun insight into their personality to find out what they pick. Also check out the "How Did This Get Made" podcast with Jason, Paul Scheer (from the League), & June Diane Raphael. They rip on awful movies & it's great!
All his peers, producers, and directors say Jason is a thoughtful caring nice human being off the camera. They really like him. On the camera, the dude is crazy and funny.
Jason Mantzoukas is crazy funny. He's great in everything I've seen him in & his commentary is amazing on How Did This Get Made? Serious laugh out loud stuff. 5 Stars. Happy he's found success!!
Sam Jones seems like a pretty great interviewer. He acts like a therapist. Ask a probing question, and then get out of the way. He anticipates a lull and has another probing question ready. Nice work, Jason Mantzoukas is an underappreciated talent.
well cause frankly it's more like a conversation than an interview. He's not someone you see is clearly rattling off one totally preconceived question at a time, seeming to not even listen to what the answer is, much less engaging a follow up back and forth.
Yeah and unlike some interviewers, who just let the guest talk for the audience but don't feel they need to actually listen to them and do these like, fake "whoa's" and "that's interesting", this guy seems to be actually affected by what the guests are saying, he really connects to their stories emotionally, and I think that's why he does so well with follow-up questions etc
I don't know why Off Camera videos aren't way more popular. Great guests, great host...is it the Black and White photography that turns people off? I mean, WTF? Another classic blunder courtesy of the RUclips algorithm.
@@ecrhoad you're FULLY colorblind? only because that is EXTREMELY rare, to literally see no color in anything. Most colorblind people, including myself, it's about having trouble distinguishing between just a couple certain colors. For me it's blue/green. They can often really sort of blend together for me, but I do still generally have the ability to see color in the world.
Red Wings, those boots are around $200 but they are well with the money, they last a really long time, I had a pair that lasted a good 5 years in heavy working conditions
PLEASE DON'T INTERJECT AT ALL! PLEASE DON'T CUT THE GUEST OFF AT ALL I KNOW U THINK U NEED TO "STEER" BUT UNLESS THERE'S DEAD AIR THEY SEEM TO HAVE MORE TO SAY AND YOU INTERJECT... PLEASEEEEEE LET THEM TALK PLEASE IM BEGGING U SHUT UP AND LET THE STAR BE

Love Jason so this is an honest, not intentionally offensive question...what's going on with his skin/nose/corners of his eyes?
I'm digging the boots Jason is wearing, anyone have an idea what brand?
