I had this car 3 years now and it is a hatch back and it is call Mit. Mirage, 3 cyl. 1.2cc auto CVT transmission, fuel consumption depend on the temperature of your aircon , at 25 degree cooling it give you a perfect consumption in town driving and even driving thru the high way you get surprise of it consumption, the earlier model of this Mit. is that the sound insulation was not that perfect and are able to hear the Engine rev. while inside the car, anyway heard it has been solved installing the carpet. Little problem of the ABS braking system sometime when you actually trying to apply a sudden brake you may feel the brake keep pushing down . check with the agent they said it normal for ABS. other than this the car is perfectly beautiful to own . weight less than a ton. 14 inch sport wheel are perfectly just nice for fuel economy , but if you wheel on with a wider and a bigger tyre you may find it a little higher in consumption inaccurate computer reading on travelling consumption , the computer reading are accurate only for 14" tyre after driving it reaching 17,500 km have my front disc brake replace and 3 oil change, speed of the car was wonderful which i tested my auto that put me at 160kmph which i gradually slow down after hitting it speed for my safety purpose. The steering wheel might be quite a nuisance cos it doesn't turn back as other car usually do but with this latest model i might not know whether it have rectify this. a beautiful car to own especially with the model start stop switch.
Great review but could you talk more about the driving experience in your reviews? Things like weight of the steering, noise insulation, suspension and ride quality, quality of the interior, etc?

I wouldn't buy a full spec car in Msia for the price its close to the Honda City that's feels better n more premium Attrage Pros -Fuel Consumption -space -reasonable comfort NVH not so nice above 100kph -Good road clearance -Impressive sound system for the highest spec variant. -soft and compliant suspension at low speeds Cons - Hideous -Expensive -Plasticy interior dull -CVT whine at higher speed -floaty feel at higher speed
Be weary of the Mitsubishi policy to not provide replacement car if ever your car breaksdown and is under warranty repairs...i learnt this 1st hand when my car was repaired for 47 days at Mitsubishi last month.
This is the most detailed video I've found for this car model. Over here in Mexico it's being distributed as the Dodge Attitude but it's pretty much the same exact car; I'm looking into buying this car later this year. Did you manage to drive it climbing up hills? 78hp seem kinda low for going up a hill with 4 people...

In terms of power depending on the incline of the bridges you are driving up, here in SIngpapore, i drove it up on our most steepest bridge, and it did manage to go up without much effort thanks to its MIVEC engine, we drove with 4 people on board, adults.
