Hombarume & Tanyah Tribute To Chiwoniso Jam at Monolio Studios-21 July,2022

CHIWONISO RARA ZVAKANAKA-Featuring Hombarume & Tanyah:
Last night I had a session with these 2 vibrant young artists.They were happy to accept my proposal to do a Chiwoniso tribute after we finished their session.I decided that we re-arrange lyrics,but maintain the melody to the Chiwoniso chorus to her classic song "Mai Fambai Zvakanaka".I think we can be forgiven for the plagiarism.
I then suggested that the young musicians improvise new verses on the spot,& this is the result.
I'm sure by now you know that we have a Chiwoniso Tribute gig this Sunday at Ela the Garden in Newlands from 3pm to 8pm.See you there.
