Thanks for the tip about plugging in the short cable from the receiver to the camera to control the audio in the camera. I take videos of trains that are very loud and even at the -20db setting, the microphone clips badly. Being able to turn down the audio in the camera should help.
Thank you for sharing the video, much appreciated. I do have a question though... Have you tried comparing the noise level (and audio quality from 0db-20db) between "digital mode" vs "analogue mode" (adjusting camera audio level through 3.5mm cable connection)? Really curious in terms of the audio quality (and noise floor) whether controlling the level manually would have overall better results over the digital modes' AGC (automatic gain control)...Thanks again~
Hi There, I just got this ECM-W2BT for my ZV-1 but don't know how to link them together and cannot find instructions anywhere so would greatly appreciate if you could let me know ? Kind Regards,
@@lenslibrary hi, yes I did just put the receiver into the ZV1 hotshoe and switch it on to receiver mode only and left the microphone off then recorded a very short video and there was no audio playback.
The signals so far indicate a far too high price in relation to performance, especially in comparison with what is already on the market, for example rode, saramonic etc. Sad as the form factor seems good.
Which camera and lens have you used for that amazing beautiful bokey effect in your market aound test
How does this compare to the new rode wireless go 2? Trying to choose between the two
I have the sony lav mic silver version. I like the black one. Where can I get?

Can it be used with gopro g7x mark ii & mobiles for sync recording with video
Hi! Can I connect this mic to an interfaz Focusdire to make streaming content?
Great handy kit for run & gun shoots. Would have been nice to know the handling noise when holding the transmitter. 😁
Anyone know where to get replacement wind shields??
is it compatible with rode wireless go?
I am facing static noise while using with Sony A6400, is that normal? its like hissss.
Nope , maybe u need to send back to check , another u can try to lower the db , to -10db or -20db
@@lenslibrary i am using -20dB
Thn I think best for u to send back for warranty
Please do in-depth review of the LV1.
looking forward to buying this setup. cool review thank you!
Can this also work with iOS or android phones for blogging

do u mean to connect the w2BT to camera ?
@@lenslibrary yes, specifically to the Sony ZV-1 camera
It should be automatic, as long as u plug in the receiver to the ZV-1 hot shoe, everything will be good to go :)

Arrr , u hav to set the mic to digital in order to get signal send to camera , that way is fully auto, and u should be able to get sound now :)
Very good video. Enjoyed it. Thank you.

Put my order in good review 👍😍
Ok la thanks for the infos!
Nice review 👍
i love this!! when can i buy this
If in Malaysia expecting to be May
Receiver sounds good.
The w2bt clipped to your shirt will stretch your shirt down and show your chest. Having the LV1 with it is more...civilised.
The sound when he turns it on is bad because there is audio from 2 microphones at once (studio mic + sony mic)
We do mute the studio mic whn we turn on the Sony mic , u only hear one mic at one time :)
Seperate the audio
The audio sounds like trash :(
it looks like you will have to use a lav mic for good quality, whereas the wireless go is actually decent. I hope its at least a good transmitter
He had both mics on so he was getting audio from two sources. He should have tested one at a time and separated them.
