Bit of a late response here, but a "ACE" version of a Medal is earned when beating a boss with all challenges on with Epic difficulty, if I remember correctly.

just use lance with full offense set + attack buff and berserk and the other 4 to heal and support. at least he doesn't block heal and 1 shot you with every move like natalia

I never had to pepper-spam God on Epic. I did have to do that for devourer. Not sure how I'd even approach doing it with rare food disabled.

@@thermophile1695 2 months late, but you can cheese both God and Devourer with Scorch. Get them to a 50% HP debuff (or 80% debuff with the right equipment) and start "otking" them. There are scorchless strats, but they are harder and take a longer time to pull off anyway.

When I fought Devourer on Epic, I had to use peppers just to survive. I had to keep full buffs and Regen just to survive the Devourer itself, and I had to use Annihilate to keep the summons down.
In that playthrough, I didn't catch many monsters, so I didn't know I could use Scorch with Cosmic Monolith. Still though, I'm not sure how you'd survive long enough for it to let you do a OTKO.
Like... Maybe with Art Attack and auto revive? Without rare food though you can't spam either, so still not gonna be easy.
