"We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dreams." - Willy Wonka 1971 More Quotes: "If the good Lord intended for us to walk, he never would've invented roller skates." "There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination." "A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest of men."
As a faculty, imagination is incredible. I can quasi-perceive a dog reciting Shakespeare to a toad who offers him critiques and advice on public speaking, and then that scene can melt away into nothing and I can see a wrench tightening a bolt, and then that can be immediately superseded by a scene where I’m on Mars trying to replace the air/filters on my ship, all while taking in the Martian scenery. What I mean to say is that imagination, considered in isolation, apart from what inspires or guides it, is so fascinating that I’ll never leave it alone. And there are so many subtle ways to get totally lost in it. Colors, sounds, shapes, scenarios, different way of interacting with the imagined content, attempting to totally fill your imaginative field of vision, and so many other things- the experimentation is endless. And then there’s that perhaps more fascinating question of what guides it all. Why this shape and not some other? Why this color and not some other? Why this scenario and not something totally different? Imagination, considered apart from “inspiration” or “creativity”, is just endlessly fascinating. And it’s something you can do without even moving a muscle! Just sit in a chair and transport yourself to a different world- to a world of pure possibility; to a world of pure imagination. Edit: For those that are interested, and I can’t believe that there are really people interested, there’s a book called “Imagining: a phenomenological study” by a guy named Edward Casey. I am not Edward Casey and this is not a promotion of his book, but for those who want to get a more detailed understanding of their own power of imagination- to really be able to become lost in it and enjoy it for all it’s worth- I recommend reading it and studying it. I also appreciate all the positive comments. Thanks guys. PS: I just want to mention two pretty significant aspects of imagination. First, imagination, as we experience it, is irreducibly composed of an act and an object; that is, there is always some specific act of imagination, and there is always some specific object of which the act is directed toward (say, in my act of imagining that I am looking up at the Eiffel Tower). The act of that example would be, in the parlance of Casey, “imagining-how” that is, imagining how it would be like for me, in the first-person, to look up at the Eiffel Tower, which is the object. And in this case, at least for me, I was experiencing it directly in front of me in my imaginative field of vision (as opposed to indirectly, which would mean that, maybe, it was behind me, or in a photograph, etc). Secondly, imagination is always taken to be something which is “purely possible” and not actual. This is actually the hinge point that distinguishes recollective memory from imagination: in memory, we take the events to have actually happened, but in imagination we take the events to be purely possible (however implausible they seem). Keep the comments coming, and enjoy your imagination!

This song makes me feel nostalgia for absolutely no reason and I love it. It makes me feel like I'm 3 years old at a daycare without a care in the world just playing games outside with my friends. Miss you Marshall. (no, he's not dead, just haven't seen him in years).
You know how music like this makes me feel? It makes me think of me in another world, all by myself having the most peaceful time of my life, a small chill breeze with every kind of tree in the world around me. I am around 20 years old in my imagination even though I’m am not really. Sometimes it makes me think of rainy days with every raindrop around me sounding like music, me walking home with a beautiful umbrella. And sometimes it makes me think of my past.
It's almost like you're asking for someone to say something. Something like: "If you bite into a pp while it's hard, will it be crunchy?" You know, something along those lines. this is the first thing that came to my mind...
This music makes me so f'in nostalgic. Every time I hear it, It reminds me of a time last year when I used to talk to this girl who was very special to me everyday, but it's now just a memory. My heart can't take the big blow of feelings.

I've loved this theme from my childhood and I remember simpler times. Today fantasy seems like a luxury, we can no longer afford, but for I pity our children. Finally, in instrumental version, it doesn't make me cry EVERYTIME I hear it played. I know it's the child's heart, I was born with.
I came here from Yumi, he puts this song in the background of his videos and I couldn’t resist finding this. So what I’m trying to say is that this is an amazing song.
I finally found it! I heard this song like a year ago and I never forgot it. I just couldn't remember who made it or the title lol. So glad I found it.
My 9th grade German teacher would play this song on his speaker whilst our class was working. He’s a huge Willy Wonka fan, and the guy even had an identical personality to the character, both mentally and physically. How I wish I could go back to freshmen year...
3 year heart, thank you Spooky! Real right there. I literally just went off on an adventure laying down with a rain storm in Ohio with this song and had the windows open. it was amazing

This song, unlike all other LoFi songs, makes me happy. It's just an upbeat LoFi song that you typically don't experience.

the chord progression reminds me of zelda
Agreed.
