Today, honoring the Immaculate Conception, I'm inspired by Mary's pure heart and preparation for Jesus' birth, prompting me to ready my heart for this season's blessings and the joy of Christ's coming (both the first and second). Mary, your presence and prayers through the rosary bring me strength and comfort. May I honor each day this way in the future. Thank you for guiding me closer to Jesus. Amen.

I know what is being said in this video about the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as i listened to what was being said by the Archbishop Smith, for my own experience back in 1987, for one night only i met with Blessed Virgin Mary, and i will say it was the best night i have ever encountered in my life and i will never forget it as long as i live,
for Mary is a true loving Mother, i have been told by many that i was off my head when i spoke about it, but i do not care what people think about that, for we all have to deal with something in our life that cause pain and suffering and letting go,
the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary taught me how to deal with that in a simple way "Forgiveness" as She told me how to forgive others that caused you hurt and pain and suffering, right back to our fore fathers and mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, and so on, bullying too, and abuse of any kind
, i will tell you all right now, the most perfect love i have ever encountered was that night, the Most Blessed Virgin Mother opened Her arms towards me and from Her Hands and most Sacred Heart flowed with beams of light, a love that is far more than i have ever felt in my entire life as a person, i cried with floods of tears for that moment like a child just sobbing my eyes out like a river down my cheeks, those tears where not tears of sorrow, but tears of pure joy, for that moment i was a child in with a loving heart of a beloved Mother of Jesus,
i feel those tears of joy as i write this just now, please do not believe what i have told you, but hold that in your heart of that you can do for others and brake away the stone that surround your heart so that will become a heart of flesh, Mother Mary told me that, and before She left me She said, "I AM YOUR MOTHER NOW" i know that many will not believe a word of this what i have said here, but all i know is that i now know what it is like to be truly LOVED by a Mother who loves us Dearly from the HEART, God Bless you All.

@@calmdowngurl When i saw this video, i had to say what i encountered on that night back in 1987 with the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary, it was so very loving, and She was the most beautiful Woman i have ever saw in my whole life, She told me that night, who ever you should touch, they shall know, is through a comment, or a hug, or just loving them from a far, i just do not know, i just trust in what the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary said to me, i never ever in my life expected to have a most holy presence of a beloved Mother like Mary in my life, for i was a broken person who suffered panic attacks for many years, and was married for 23yrs, then my wife divorced me after i spoke about the encounter with Mary as she though i was off my head, them my mother passed away shortly after that, and i lost my job, but it took many years to get back on my feet, as i felt that i went through much in life, i needed to centre my heart on what i can pray for others and hope for them as they go through the hardships and pain as the walk in life, yes we all have something that we get hurt from or have fallen, but we can get up again and be a person who can love with a true heart and not have a heart of stone, i felt that was a message from Mother Mary, that our hearts are closed and that how She can't reach many people, in most cases that why She appeared to children mostly for they heart where not as stone at a young age, sorry for going on and on here, but thank you so much for your comment, and Bless you dear one, and may you find in your heart the truth of who you are as a child of love for God.

I forgot to mention the very important part of the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary Message is to warn the people to return back to Her Son Jesus, as i was shown what was to come if people refused to return back to Jesus, yes i felt the love and compassion of the Blessed Virgin Mother and the love She has for the people, but when i saw all the events that was to come, i was deeply shocked, many that has encountered the Blessed Virgin Mother of the Children of Lourdes, Fatima, and of Guadalupe and so forth have all explained in their message from the Virgin Mother Mary, i am special like that, no for i am just as you all are just a person who now know what pure love and acts of kindness can do when applied at the right moment when someone needs it, if you all open your hearts in love as you pray, for be like a child when you come to Jesus, i have encountered many things through out the years, but the most important part of us is finding who you are in faith and prayer, even if you pray three Hail Marys a day when you have the moment, for your family, loved ones and those in other places, i myself will never forget that night with the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary.

Your Excellency, I went to mass at the regular time my parish celebrates the solemnities, only to find a closed church and empty parking lot. Come to find out, my priest offered the mass of the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception as a vigil on the 7th. So I missed my obligation. I received Holy Communion the following Sunday without confessing that. Did I commit sacrilege?

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross” (Col. 1:15-19).

It's clear in Sacred Scripture that's were the idea comes from. Genesis 3:15 God says there's an enmity between the Woman and the Serpent clearly there can't be if she bound her self to Satan by sin so for there to be an enmity between the Woman which is Mary and the Serpent means she is not bound to him she is doesn't have that sin. Hence she's the New Eve, Also Luke 1:26-46 you can clearly see when the Angel St. Gabriel says to Mary you are full of Grace. The word Grace used here in Greek is in this case a present participle meaning someone who has been Graced in the past and it's present and enduring grace even now. Hence that one word makes it crystal clear she's not Baptized and She's not even pregnant with Jesus how can she be filled with grace. In the new testament if your filled with the Grace of God you are a Baptized believer. Only Baptized Christians are filled with Grace yet the Angel St. Gabriel says these words to her before she is even Pregnant or received any Baptism. It was always believed in the ancient Church she had no sin they just didn't know when it happened was it after her birth some time during her birth, But the Church makes it clear now it has happened at the moment of her Conception. Also Revelation 12 Clearly the devil tries to destroy the Woman and is she is Protected by God nothing can touch her so the serpent wages war after us whom he can get. So all of this is just in Scripture and not including what the Church Fathers have said on Mary being the New Eve. God Bless you.

You want Mary to help you get back on track and listen to her Son? Start with the Lord’s Prayer. He said to pray to His Father. Not Mary.
Jesus was sent to make a way back to the Father but you choose to look at a female person. Even Jesus Christ said He only did what He saw His Father doing in John 5:19. How can you do what He’s doing if you’re focused on Mary and asking her to help you obey Him. Is it that complicated?
Is God a bad Father? What about Jesus? What would you think if you adopted some children and they kept going to one of them to have her come talk to you to see if they could eat? How much to eat and how to do the family business? And the whole time you’re right there watching them saying they’re doing the work but instead of getting poor people and bringing them to your house they keep taking them to a house down the street and pointing people to some woman and saying she’s the savior of the world. Follow her and she’ll take you to the savior of the world.
Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who draws, teaches, reminds, comforts and does the work of God. You’re getting rid of the need for God in every area that belongs to Him and putting Mary there.
Mary isn’t the second Eve. Jesus Christ is married to the church. The church is the bride of Christ and the “second Eve.” Ephesians 5:22-33.

So many errors. All the prophets and all the law point to the Messiah, not to Mary.
God's eternal plan involves His Son alone. Mary is earthly, sinful and in need of salvation like any of us.
The truth was written in Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." Jesus is the One we must look at, no one other.

TLDR: Mary enriches our grasp of Jesus without overshadowing his sole role in salvation; pivotal as Mother of the Church and Mother of God.
In Catholic belief, Mary's revered position doesn't diminish Jesus as salvation's source. Honored as Jesus' Mother, crucial in redemption's plan (Luke 1:31-33). Immaculate Conception preserves her from original sin, foretelling her role in Jesus' coming (Luke 1:28, Genesis 3:15). Acts 4:12 reaffirms salvation through Jesus alone; yet Mary's veneration emphasizes her vital part in the incarnation, complementing Jesus as Savior (Luke 1:38).
Scripture portrays Mary as the New Eve, embodying obedience (Romans 5:19). Gabriel's "full of grace" signifies her role in restoring from sin (Luke 1:28). Revered as the New Ark, symbolizing the carrier of Jesus, emphasizes her unique place in salvation (Luke 1:35, Exodus 25:10-22).
"Through Mary to Jesus" unveils Jesus' divinity and humanity, leading to veneration and the use of sacramentals, nurturing our spiritual journey.
Belief in the Church acknowledges Jesus' ongoing relevance. Mary, pivotal as the Mother of the Church and the Mother of God, integral to Christ's incarnation, enriches the Church's existence. We seek her intercession for grace and guidance without overshadowing Christ's role.
Investigating Marian teachings invites deeper faith. Mary's role enhances our understanding of Jesus and faith, guiding personal growth and deeper connection to Catholicism's core beliefs. She desires us to know her son fully and embrace him in our lives.
I hope my response has been helpful in strengthening your journey of faith. God bless!
"From Mary we learn to surrender to God's will in all things. From Mary, we learn to trust even when all hope seems gone." - St. John Paul II

@@apswindall Well, with all the due respect, the Scriptures do not teach us to do so. The focus is Jesus Alone, He does not need such strategies. Jesus taught us that the Holy Spirit would teach us everything.

    • @apswindall
      @apswindall 11 месяцев назад +9

The Catholic perspective asserts that Scripture, while significant, isn't the sole repository of Christ's teachings. Christ established a living Church before the Gospels, affirming its authority through passages like Matthew 16:18 and Matthew 18:18. This Church, guided by the Holy Spirit as depicted in John 16:13 and Acts 15:28, collaborates with Scripture and Tradition for a thorough understanding of Christ's message.
Mary's elevated role in Christianity, evident in events like the wedding at Cana (John 2:1-11) and Christ entrusting her to John at the cross (John 19:26-27), underscores her profound significance in Catholic theology. Veneration of Mary within the Catholic Church enhances the narrative of salvation, aligning with biblical principles like unified prayer (Matthew 18:20).
Furthermore, the Church, seen as the Body of Christ, plays a vital role in dispensing the graces of the Holy Spirit through sacraments such as Baptism and the Eucharist. These sacraments serve as conduits of sanctifying grace, allowing believers to partake in God's divine life and fortifying their connection to Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, active participation in the sacramental life and communal aspects of the Church is considered essential in Catholic doctrine for receiving and cultivating the graces of the Holy Spirit. This perspective emphasizes the Church's role in nurturing spiritual growth and fostering a deeper connection with the divine, without limiting God's grace.
The interplay of Scripture, Tradition, and Church teachings guided by the Holy Spirit offers a comprehensive framework that enriches the perception of Christ's message and Mary's role within it, all while maintaining Christ's centrality in salvation.
