Jess wrote the letter the prank was her idea. Emily and Jess talked Mike into the prank, you can tell he felt bad but apparently not bad enough to just not be rude and just not prank the poor girl. Also Matt was filming, not Josh and Sam tried to stop the prank.
Love this game excited to watch your playthrough! When this game come out I think I played it 3 times back to back just so many choices! No time to watch it right now but I will later today!

So glad you're playing this, Shay! I love this game and I've probably seen more playthroughs of it than any other and I never get tired of seeing someone new give it a try. Surprisingly, I almost always hear a new line of dialogue or see some new scene that I rarely or never see in other playthroughs. If you like this style of gameplay, the developer has a bunch of shorter horror games as well. They're published under The Dark Pictures Anthology name. Each one takes inspiration from a specific subgenre of horror films. They tend to be around 4 - 6 hours long, if you wanted something short to do between bigger games. There's a new entry to the series coming out early next year, if I'm not mistaken, which takes place in space in the far future and seems to have been inspired by films like Alien and Event Horizon. The games are unconnected, so you can play them in any order. House of Ashes is generally considered the best one, though everyone has their favorite. The developer also did a bigger horror release fairly recently called The Quary. It's quite similar to Until Dawn, just with a bigger budget and more modern graphics. They also just released The Casting of Frank Stone, another horror game with a similar choice based playstyle, but they partnered with the Dead by Daylight developer to incorporate some of the Dead by Daylight mythology into the game.

They are all actors. Sam is Hayden Panettiere. She was in Scream 4 and 6. And was married to the boxer Klitschko. I didn't know the rest except for the psychoanalyst Dr. Hill. The actor was in Prison Break, one of the best series I've ever seen in my life. It's a shame there won't be a 6th season.
Oh, you're in for a treat with this one... but will you keep everyone alive? Fun fact it's actually set in the mountains of Alberta. As for the remake, the opening prologue is extended, and they actually include new items to find, which adds a different ending and epilogue hinting at a sequel. After you finish this, I'd recommend reacting to the differences.

Yooooooo Until Dawn, let's go. One of my absolute fav horrors, (IDK my "fav" spot would be between this and Amnesia, not sure which I'd pick, although both play completely differently, both are absolutely amazing in their own ways)

Now it's not a story game/interactive movie like until dawn, it's a first person horror (although it does still have a story, and the story is still really good). But on top of that it nails the atmosphere amazingly, especially the first game (the dark descent), but the rest aren't half bad either.
They added some additional scenes/set dressing. Some scenes are awkward cause they didn’t get the VAs to do lines so it’s quiet but then they added some scenes that may have been cut in the original? The original is far less awkward overall.
From what I've heard the general consensus is the OG is a little bit better - so that with the fact it was free with my PS+ this month sealed the deal for me! Plus sometimes I do enjoy playing original games!
I prefer the original, with the old song etc, but two things is good on remake is the new ending, and the cut content in the original version. But I still prefer the original.
I've watched a lot of playthroughs of this game and you are the first one I've seen let Hannah go. I'm glad you did, because I've been wanting to see what happens when you do.

All the other backdoors and stuff probably just unlock from the inside (or have a key which is itself inside, as you don't need to bring 15 keys for all the small doors when just the 1 for the front door should be good and then keep the secondary keys in the house)

I have seen playthroughs where people never even notice that at all! Jess was the one under the bed giggling with Emily it wasn't Sam. Sam wasn't in on the Joke far as I know. Ahhh and yeah Chris did have the key in his hand at the start I figured you would have caught that in editing and put a note on the screen like you normally do but guess you missed it! Also you missed that was Chis and not Mike chasing them. Looking forward to the next one! Remember to Smile....

Jessica and Emilly planned the prank, Mike, Matt and Ashley just accepted it. Josh and Chris were drunk and Sam wasn't in on the prank. Mike, he's goofy but he's a good person. It's funny that Hannah was in love with Mike, but Jessica must have been planning this from the beginning, so much so that Emily and Mike's breakup was very strange and sudden, and we don't have any details about it. While Emily went after Mike for no reason? Or wasn't it something so simple? That must be why Emily hates and resents her ex best friend, since she "stole" her ex boyfriend, this is very confusing lol. Mike and Sam are my favorites, especially in the next chapters, some opinions about the character can change throughout the story.

I mean putting the controller down and cheesing the section where failing doesn't matter and which is intended to teach you probs won't be particurarly beneficial once you need to do it for real (as often you might not have the chance to put the controller down... also I think the vibrations might make it move even if it is down, so it's not particurarly safe... I mean from what I've heard the motion thing is pretty busted and tends to fail in silly ways, but well... either ways I dunno if putting it down is the solution)
I wasn't moving - not sure what was happening but my hands were pretty still - I can play the game the way I want I don't think putting the controller down for one of them means I will fail the next one and wont' be able to progress ever again and won't be able to finish the playthrough 😈
@@VideogameShayPlays I mean yeah as mentioned the no moving bits do tend to be pretty finnicky... I'm not sure at which point did I say that you couldn't play the game any way you want? But getting the practice in when it's safe is probably a better time to get the hang of the don't moves than when failing results in a character death.

This is not the Remake i thought you where playing the new one you really need to play the Remake it's a massive graphics difference and the Remake has 6 more totems and extra scenes it really is amazing.
There's literally a remake of this game that came out recently, which is superior in every aspect, and yet you're playing the old version? Come on. Why?
If you watch the first episode I explained why I didn’t. It’s mostly a financial reason. I don’t owe anyone a financial breakdown of my life but I didn’t have the funds to get a $100 game when the old version was included with my PS+ membership so why throw away that much…maybe you could think about that first or perhaps restructure your comments next time 😳
