    Maybe one day I will see the Coral Rifle's uncharged attack get an additional 1-10 damage so it can stop leaving all MTs in PVE at 1% AP

      Time to learn how to assault boost into an enemy to deal that small fraction of chip damage to kill them. You don't even need to kick, just bump into them.

      Yeah that's super annoying..literally a 1-5% damage buff would make that weapon feel 10x better.

    8:55 Just a note on the wrecker arms: such a small increase seems pointless, but pre-patch the wrecker arm punch attack didn't deal enough damage to extend stagger against ACs with high defense. While you probably shouldn't be punching much with the wrecker arms to begin with, at least now you can chain punches like every other arm can.

    I am glad to see the KRSV is a bit more usable in PvE since I liked trying to sorta replicate the AC from the Silent Line opening (ik the VE-66LRA works too but not enough damage for that all in feel). Still kinda wished the ammo cost on the charge attacks was left alone with how much it takes a toll equipping on an AC. Neat patch overall despite some things could be done better

      Absolutely thought ammunition cost could be cheaper. Don't think KRSV charged attacks needed a nerf in PVE.

      They really didn't. Plus, the weapon's weight is a massive deterrent when deciding to use it. It's the second heaviest weapon in the game.

    Another banger video by the baller known as Chrightt. I must say, the nerfs to heavies and siege missiles hit me hard in my loadout lineups. Still the buffs to certain weapon types now makes them viable. Bazookas anyone?

    The VP46S got a pretty hefty melee buff that helps them compete with the other VP arms as the second nest melee arms in the game so that is kinda nice for hybrid builds that want a bit more defense. Also they look cool and I like that.

      @@defuncthusky6649 yeah, the stun pistols are too strong right now. Their weakness is that they have low ammo count so in PvE, carrying dual stun guns in a long mission or for a boss fight is not preferable, but in PvP, that weakness is just gone, reduced to atom.

      @@MaidenlessScrub yeah its real hard to beat em unless youre running a very optimized build. They jeed to rebalance a buncha stuff, the more normal weapons. Too many of the gimmick weapons are strong and i hate how much this game is turning into a combo fest. I wish the minigun was how it was in gen 3, high dps weight and en load but low ammo. Would make miniguns actually fun to use and a long range option for automatic weapons

      What I’d like to see is the electric status effect being changed to something other than a flat 1600 damage upon proc. The stun guns in particular can be oppressive in PVP to the point that you’re stuck running heads with high system recovery if you don’t want to get burst down.

    I actually love the laser blade. It is great for the last bit of stagger before a charged bunker. Because it hits only once there's no getting dodged or wasting stagger time finishing combo. It's light too!

      I like it because it's uncharged attack feels the most like classic AC blades, and the charged attack is a 360 sweep. Combine it with the dagger in a dual melee build, and you can pull off some very quick, rapid melee attacks.

    Chrightt, would you be interested one day doing a video on the radar jammer bomb weapon, either as a informational video or a build that utilizes it? It’s a low-key anti-meta weapon that’s useful against the “Missile Rat” builds which focus on light weights kiting others in the air with missiles.

    I literally started a NG+ run today where I wanted to run the moonlight blade and I was wondering why the charge just seemed to be devastating in the arena... When you can get stagger with plasma missiles and a machine gun, that last 20% on most targets is easily handled with a charged moonlight swing. And mighty stylish to boot! Great work with the patch notes as always!

    Wuerger is downright _terrifying_ post-buff. You can charge it up and fire as a _reaction_ to someone charging in with a melee attack, making it function as a melee counter similar to HMMR and ET if you're quick enough. Running it alongside a high-stagger melee (Pulse Blade works _great_ here) means it's a lot more consistent at its followup, and it hits way harder too. Very spooky.
    Not sure how I feel about Spring Chickens getting tankier, honestly, as those kickspam huxley builds were a real menace already. Giving them more survivability means they've got more room to close the gap and stunlock you.

      @ligaar0849 the easy way is just "put it on a wheelchair/tetrapod" since they don't suffer the animation lock.
      The HMMR has a very bizarre hit range, from like 70-80m, and it changes while you fire because your AC steps back between hits and may knock the enemy away between hits. Realistically you should only try to hit the thing at

    I'd like to see the vp46d arms get a melee buff, they are glass cannon arms, really high tracking and the second highest melee, but the firmeza is too close with much better def, it would also solve a bit of the basho problem and give another strong melee arm option

    Bro, about ur video of heads in terms of recover system, making some tests i think i noticed that it actually affects stagger bar, but not after getting staggered, but before that. Seems that bar lowdowns faster with high recovery system as long as u evade fire well but I'm not sure yet how this affects, for example conditions like:
    -Stops getting hit for a short time.
    -Works as a counter for weapons accumulative impact.
    I would like u to try recovery system with almost filled stagger bar. I made my test with rifles.

    I like the Kasuar legs a lot, but its so hard to make builds with them. There are very few actually effective things you can put them on. i feel like they should have a load limit increase of like 1k, at least, nothing too extravagant but enough to let them have a few more options

    If they do a 1.05 that will bé cool to add an option of weapon / part change in resuply drones . Some boss liké Balteus and thé smart cleaner require specific build if are sometime not usefull in thé part before re suply

    I want pve co op raids that are like 2 to 4 main story levels in length but with maybe some area defense mechanism you have to hack or destroy and tougher mobs you need to prioritize the kill orders of before a final super boss. And they csn give weapon os tune or parts for rewards just make it so that there's at least one viable setup from shop only parts to melt the raid

    wow I might actually give another chance to my kasuar melee build. although I doubt the situation with bazookas got any better (getting staggered and taking at least 10-15% of AP of damage due to latency isn't fun, with a very light build).

      It's buffed in 1.03.1. I think working with energy firearm specialization made it quite the interesting weapon. Not the best but good enough to be used in builds for sure.

      ​@@ChrighttAurora's issue is its janky targeting making it miss, so it needs a buff in the sense that it would be viable if it hit all the missiles consistently. Probably could use a faster lock time too, since it doesn't nuke like coral missiles.

      They're decent in very specific applications-at short range, they're actually not _awful_ at hitting their target, and they deal a surprising amount of impact. They work great alongside EN generators to boost their reload time and short-range laser weaponry (such as the newly-buffed Wuerger) to pile on the damage while they take care of stagger maintenance.
      They could use a lock-on buff for sure, to make them less restrictive on your choice of FCS. No reason for them to take so damned long.

    Main problem of the KRSV is the mass of the weapon . It s almost impossible to do a double KR except if you take a tank build

      The HMMR is actually one of the most meta melee weapons atm. It is quite strong (normal attack, don't do charged).

      It's good enough for me to run BASHO Arms, yeah, but sometimes it feels like I might as well roll the dice with the Slidesaw. The HMMR has an unfortunate tendancy to hit the other guy out of range of the second hit, or hits them and bounces off some wall behind them, robbing you of the second hit.
      While we're talking about it, you can hit Pater and Hawkins through the door with it.

I sometimes get the first hit, but even when that does hit the second just almost always wiffs. Its got good stats for sure, but its awful to use. I prefer almost anything else to it. Including the laser blade, one of my favorites.

    4:48 is that AC particularly resistant to Electrical Discharge build-up, or are your hits managing to miss them more? Because as i've noticed in arena AC fights, foes like Chartreuse take an average of 5-6 volleys, and poor Volta takes only 3-4 for the status to trigger.
    And that's considering 2-3 of the bombs fired catch with the AoE.
    Electrical Discharge is definitely greatly influenced by AC parts, but that scene feels extreme somehow...

    I'm still sad that Energy Weapons across the board didn't get an Ammo increase... My Laser Shotgun didn't even get some ammo... Man... I was hoping that I'd get more of those... Any Energy Weapons that has Charge Mechanics are being gutted by the low ammo count. It's a little harsh, compared to the Kinetic Weapons. Even the Kinetic Weapons are lighter too, even though logically, they would have to carry Ammo Capacity.

    Any set up you’d recommend for ibis? Dual zims and song birds in lightweight reverse joint can kill stage 1. Not 2.

      Dual gatling and tank build wheelchair . Use double needles launcher . Bubble launcher Kranick IS cool but you maybe not have it in your 1 st run

    Can you tell me what your book is about?

      My fantasy novel is set in a world where humans obtain powers by getting "approved" by celestial beasts, basically creatures with powers. Like the animals in our world, celestial beasts also have their own traits/personalities you tend to associate them with. Celestial beasts tend to approve people that exemplifies these traits (i.e. someone loyal and friendly is more likely to be approved by a hound/wolf than another House). And since humans only gain power by getting approved by beasts in this world, people are split into different "Houses" like the House of Hounds, the House of Wings, the House of Cats, etc. which often causes conflict between the Houses.
      The first story titled, The House of Hounds, follows a few characters but mainly focuses on the main character, a boy named Fenril, and his journey in becoming an approved and exploring the world of Dalnabest.       Because they didnt want to change the limit of the charge shots, they just wanted the original shots to be able to be used more freely. Im in agreement with you guys though, for its weight, it still feels damn limited.

    I noticed you dont have any velocity stats for some weapons like the grenade launchers, is it possible to add those to the spreadsheet at some point? Also id like to know the speed of the moonlight waves as well.

      The velocity stats of grenade launchers are on the sheet already. Just added velocity of moon blades onto the sheet through note form on the attack (scroll over to see). They're 350m/s

    I don't think this patch touches what are actually the issues the game is facing right now. Kiting missile builds are way too strong to the point where any build either needs to be built to counter them or do kiting missiles or similar better.
    I'm surprised they bothered to buff the wrecker arms, their 1.0 stats said to me that they were basically a joke choice.

      The wrecker arms are a niche pick because they focus on recoil control rather than target tracking. Dual Gats are a good pick with them because the bullets tend to spread quickly even with good target tracking, which means you need arms that can handle the massive recoil instead. That, and I think they have above average defenses compared to other arms in their weight class, but admittedly it’s been a while since I last checked so don’t quote me on that one.

      Have you set your network settings to Global servers?

      create your own room if thats the case. It shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes to fill up and have repeat matches.

    It's so stupid that you have to run Basho arms if you use melee because they made the damage difference so massive that other arms are pointless. Even if they gave the VP-46S arms 140 melee specialization, the Basho arms still do 11% more damage, so it's stupid they placed Basho that much higher than everything else.

    Do you know how defenses and damage reductions work in this game?
    I mean theybadded like 50 defense points at the spring chicken. 50 points on like 1000 are almost nothing. It is an interesting amount for stability but.....i need to understand

      Every 10 points of defense is worth 1% less damage, so 50 means 5% less damage of that type.

      @@Genmakentensho it cant be, acs easily get up to 1k defenses, and if that is the case, 1k would be 100% damage reduction, becoming immune to it

      1K is considered the baseline, meaning going under 1K leads you to taking more damage than normal. I've personally tested this.

    4:18 I dont think the Therapist was meant to be run by itself as the sole source of electricity. I've seen it do very well in builds that feature other sources of shock, since it helps to keep the electric pressure up and fill downtime while the other weapons are reloading

      But there are stun guns too that can put up much more pressure than the slower CD oriented Therapist. I think the therapist is too weak even used as a poke to keep up electrify atm. A bit more buildup wouldn't hurt really.

      the issue is the other static weapons are _so_ much better that you might as well run one of those instead of the Therapist. Even the baton is better at it, and it's the worst melee weapon.

      It needs an electric buff for sure, and maybe blast radius too, its a bit slow if used at mid range.

    Why did you use 12000 for the highest def i have a build with 13000 in all three categories

      🤔 Not sure where you're getting that. I didn't use 1200 defense as highest defense. I said if enemy has 1200 defense then your redshift will actually start doing more damage than moonlight. If enemy's defense is any higher moonlight can do even less damage despite having higher base charged attack damage.

      why dont you use the highest acheivable defense for anti-def the testing of weapons cause like coral is based on all defense parameters, unlike the other three, which only look at a single parameters if i recall correctly how some one said coral weapons worked. And of course it would be the same for the other three as well but only individually

      @@maxdragonslayer Coral isn't influenced by defensive stats, as you can see yourself by testing against the trainer AC, which has above 0 defense for the other damage types.

    i remember hearing people had pretty conclusive evidence that Coral damage is actually a combination of all 3 damage types, deriving extra damage from all the damage type upgrades and being reduced by your average defensive performance

      I have no idea where this bullshit came from... but to prove this "conclusive evidence" wrong you can try all 3 types of weapon and realize that the trainer AC has above 0% damage reduction for all 3 types. And then you can proceed to see coral doesn't get damage reduced.

      Coral damage does get a small boost in damage from each of the skills that boost damage. However, it isn't resisted by any of the defenses.

    Eh. Seems like a much less interesting patch compared to the last one, but at least most of the changes were good.
    Neither of the status effects seem very good in my experience. Too hard to apply and not all that impactful. Hope they address that at some point rather than just small changes to the weapons that apply them.

    just wanted to make a note on coral damage - it doesn't actually apply to melee weapons, but don't coral weapons actually lose damage because the os tuning damage boosts don't apply? i imagine it would roughly come up even when you factor in defense stats. just something i thought of that i have not seen anyone mention.

      This is plain wrong. Coral damage applies to melee weapon AND is affected by OS tuning (the energy weapon OS tuning specifically). As you can see from damage per slice = 727 x 1.29 (Basho arms) x 1.15 (energy OS tuning) = 1079 damage as shown in my clip. Why they decided to still give OS tuning to coral damage is beyond me.

      oh damn. tbf i should have tested it myself. that is very odd since they don't seem to consider coral weapons as energy weapons for any other purpose, but i guess they didn't want it to feel bad not benefitting from ost
      edit: also my phrasing was a bit weird - i didn't mean coral damage doesn't apply to melee weapons, i meant that coral melees would still get ost buffs from the melee specific one. i actually had no idea melee weapons also got the energy/kinetic ost boost as well
