And yeah In overall specs Galaxys are better, personally I don’t like that much stuff in my phone but for example if I want more features I’ll just get a laptop or something.

the fact that the iPhone 7 Plus is still pretty fast after almost 5 years is just... Wow.
I just went from my 7 Plus to the 11. I’m on iOS 14 and it’s actually quite a difference. Especially in the battery life, though my 7 Plus was one of the original ones using the original battery. Everything on the 11 loads faster for me. Camera on the 11 is PHENOMENAL, as is the battery. I wouldn’t say there’s much of a difference between the screen resolution on them, but I noticed with them side by side that the 7 Plus screen looked a lot more blue, which I’d never noticed before. Overall I’m glad I made the upgrade, even though I did it a month before the 12!

I have had my Iphone 7 since January 2017 and honestly I am more than surprised how well it is doing 3 years later. I thought maybe it was me who is not objective, but I compared it to my Ipad mini 5 with a12 and the difference is veryyyy small! A12 is faster over all, but switching between these 2 devices I never even feel like I need more power in my iphone, which is crazy considering that this is 3-4 year old phone. A10 is really holding up super well. The fact that the new basic Ipad is using a10 is crazy and proves that a10 is still capable of doing the job as it is supposed, which is shicking cinsidering its age lol

Beni Cs Coming from a 7 Plus, the screen definitely is not as sharp and round edges and light text just isn’t as sharp but the phone is great. The ultra wide is nice, but no telephoto so it’s a trade off you have to decide if that’s worth it. You may not notice the screen difference though like other people. I was ready to adopt the notch but it gets annoying when something in a RUclips video isn’t optimized for it and such so square is pretty much better, but all iPhones have one now so it isn’t even worth mentioning I guess. Face ID is really nice and flawless. The phone is slightly thicker though. Just what I found in the 11 and wanted to give some insight. Hopefully you are happy with whatever you end up with😁
Chase O. That’s such an insightful description. Thank you for sharing your experience with your iPhone 11. I’m an 11 Pro Max user and the aspect ratio when it comes to viewing videos or movies is a bit meh when it’s 16:9 and the notch tends to intrude.

I’m really happy with my 7+. I came from a 6+ that ended up on touch disease, I would have kept that running if it didn’t die the way it did. So happy to see Apple keeping these phones strong 💙

Android SoCs only just recently touched the single core performance of the A10. Throwing lots of cores in is the easy part, scaling ST performance as much as Apple did is very hard.

I had the S8. Design wise it was amazing. But iPhone hardware and software and superior graphics and gaming and experience is way better. I am not going to be stuck on the same OS.

AHMAD XAMGEN Yup... "ONLY" the screen. Everything else is better IMO on the iPhone. I don't see y having IPS LCD is so funny... Its a fantastic screen. And plus apple support is unmatched.
I have had this iPhone 7plus for around 3-4 years and I have been having just a few issues with it. Such as calls, {I’m not able to call anyone now because it won’t let me and then it starts glitching}, battery level {gets down too fast}, and when I restart it, it bugs out a lot.
Yeah I almost like the design of the 7 plus better was not really a fan of the notch. I use the 6s plus but might maybe get either the 7 plus or the 8 plus.
AlphaMax 6s -> 7 isnt a big upgrade, go for the 8 plus unless you don’t want a glass back

Could you make a video of an iPhone 7 running IOS 10 (first version when launched) vs an iPhone 7 running the latest version and then compare the camera quality?
I'm curious if updates have a bad influence on camera quality, especially in harder light conditions.
My parents both have these iPhones and sometimes I see pictures and I wonder if they where always that bad?
So this would be a great test finding out if manufacturers (Apple in particular) deliberately tone down the photo quality to sell more new units....

I'd say if you're on a 7 Plus, hold out for another half year when the base 12 should have an OLED, so you at least get a bigger screen upgrade. I'm not too keen on moving to another 326ppi LCD, so I'll wait (on my 8)

Don't get me wrong, I've been with Samsung OLEDs for a very long time, but Apple's LCD basically has the same quality as a SAMOLED panel but without the benefits of having wide color gamut and deep blacks

The iPhone 7 plus will get iOS 15 in 2021. The Samsung Galaxy S10 released 2.5yrs later will not get another major OS update after Android 11 coming out this Fall. Think about that for a minute.

Watching on my 7+ and i changed my battery, so it’s running well and i have no trouble with my battery, i just stopped charging it to 100% i just charge it to 80 percent i use it for a cool 7 hours before charging again, and when i do not have my date on i use it the whole day without charging

Upgraded my iphone 5s to 7 plus. Apple products are always great even how many years will pass.
iphones age incredibly well when it comes to performance even the iphone 6s is pretty fast especially for it's age the only problem with that phone is the battery life is atrocious.
Absolutely. I’ve been using an SE for 4 years and want to upgrade to the XS Max (new, like $600). I would continue using the SE if the battery didn’t die in 2 hours of light use. It’s still relatively fast and the cameras are alright too. I know people who still use an iPhone 5 and have no problems. Longevity is Apple’s biggest selling point imo.
Yes you could easily drop a new battery in it and get another couple of years of use from the 6S
I just ditched my iphone 7 yesterday. Perfomance is still ok but battery life really is so weak. Can't keep up with new apps now...

This is the primary reason why you buy an iPhone... Reliability, and performance. An iPhone is a tool, something you use to get the job done. Apple really deserves credit for their work. I would love to see a 6s plus vs 11 :)). Buying an Android phone can be more expensive just because of software updates. note 10 plus and iPhone 11 pro max are about the same price, iPhone being 30 euros more expensive, but that difference is worth paying off.
It takes my iPhone 6 like 30 seconds to open contacts.. Be happy that 7 opened that game so fast
2016 launched but still fast. No needed new iPhone until application support ends. My 5 aged Asus Zenfone Max (ZC550KL) is now running very slow. This is why people buy iPhone.

The camera improvements and newer processor are cool for the 11 series, but I kept my Xr and am saving up for the 12 Pro Max. I’m thinking it’ll be worth it ...
With IOS14 now my iPhone 7 Plus is really strugglnig at animations. When I hit flashlight button it turns on after 5-10 seconds. I loved my 7 plus but now I think it is retired time.
