Just a suggestion….when Mildred and Jessie are done eating, maybe grab their empty feed bowls (since you go back to their stalls to let them back out),and put them over by the feed bins for the next feed time. Just trying to save you some steps since you are always so so busy.

I think Jason realized how to train the animals to go up at night from Judy at Sneeds Farm Sanctuary. Brooke did a whole segment on Miss Judy in her vlog this year.
Give those babies some credit😊. They are smart and do nothing out of fear of those who hold the feed strings. You guys treat your animals all the same, with kindness and courtesy. The animals then give you the attention that you desire and make the action of doing the routine look so easy. It helps that they have names and they know that. When iI was a young mom of two I put cologne on my daughter as we got ready for church. One day my son said he wanted to wear some too. So I went shopping for men's cologne for him. Stetson was one of the two that I chose for him. He loved having his own "smell good" as we called it. It smells sooo good.

I wonder if they're MaryCarrl's birds or are they wild birds that Jason managed to get a very good shot of them flying low over the fields. I would have a big bucket or bin and a manure fork and just clean em up right after I let them out..
They have compost piles in the first pasture , but maybe a new one on this side would be convenient.

Maybe a small manure spreader would help. When it is full just spread it on your garden area or pastures. It would make great fertilizer.

Give those babies some credit😊. They are smart and do nothing out of fear of those who hold the feed strings. You guys treat your animals all the same, with kindness and courtesy. The animals then give you the attention that you desire and make the action of doing the routine look so easy. It helps that they have names and they know that. When iI was a young mom of two I put cologne on my daughter as we got ready for church. One day my son said he wanted to wear some too. So I went shopping for men's cologne for him. Stetson was one of the two that I chose for him. He loved having his own "smell good" as we called it. It smells sooo good.
