Really glad you shared this. I watched your previous video as well. Seeing the inside gives me a better understanding of the unit. I just got mine. I am curious about your use. I noticed the gun was pretty dirty. Obviously it’s seen a lot of use. Was the jam because paint got left in? Not good enough cleanings? I say this because I know my gun will like the same in a short amount of time. Just checking to see if I need to be more diligent
Ours are used for painting cabinet boxes at the house. We put almost 100 gallons through it in 4 months so I almost expected it to fail but the profits made from this tool easily justifies the cost of the repairs
@@mallerpaintingcompany Good to know. I think the gun is amazing. I’m super excited with the purchase. Interestingly enough… I bought mine at a Sherwin Williams store. It was not in my home town. Yesterday i went to my local store to see if they had tips and extensions. Not sure what level this guy was. He seemed very knowledgeable about the gun except the price. They are $1400+ on Amazon right now. In store retails for $1800+. But the store I got mine at was having a sale and I got it for $1200. He for some reason said it was $600 and something. I told him he should look it up. When he saw the price he was shocked. And said “you paid $1200? Why???? You could have got the bigger one for half. You should have saved your money and just bought the Wagner.”.
We put 80 gallons through it in 6 months. It is under warranty for one year but I wanted to tear it apart and make a video 🤣 I’m a nerd like that . Probably could have just replaced the needle valve for $111.00 but didn’t want to chance it not working.

How often do you need to change the gun ?

Was this the main issue in the end or did you also need to replace the pump?
I had a gun go out on this one but the pump went out on my other QS. If it’s under a year old Graco will replace for free
