For all the people asking if they're too old to start dancing :
Honestly just do it! In the end if you want to dance, then nothing else will matter. You can get so into the music and in the end it's about YOU and how you feel when you dance.

I honestly wish I could dance like you. You are amazing, I'm a dancing in a small dance school and I'm overlooked a lot because I'm not good compared to others but I love dance none the less, watching you dance makes me have more confidence in myself. I stretch and work out every day when I come home an practise my dances and watch your videos to to improve my dancing, tonight when I was at dancing my teacher commented on how good I have became recently and I want to let you know that your the main reason. I wouldn't be the dancer I am now, Your honestly my Inspiration, I hope one day I will be able to dance as well as you! Xxxx

I don't understand why so many unlikes. The dance is beautiful and it takes so many efforts and hard work to achieve such an unsurpassed skill, that people, who doesn't like, just have no right to put unlike. And I think it is never late to start dancing

i am a dancer and to everyone that wasnt to dance try it!!! it helps calm your nerves and you can let a lot of energy out through it. In order to dance you need to have technique. First of all if you think that dance is easy..its not. You not only need to dance well with emotion you have to dance well with technique. She did perfect and kept the rhythm throughout the dance. That is amazing!!

I'm a 13 year old contemporary dancer and honestly this gave me mega chills, I teared something in my leg whilst dancing and also injured my back while rehearsing once I'm all healed up again got my splits back ages ago. Need to get my back flexibility back, watching this makes me want it back quicker and desperately. You're amazing

I did dancing before, but it was hip hop. I really wanna do contemporary dance...but I'm not flexible what so ever. Just last year i couldn't even do a simple tumble. >^< contemporary is really beautiful

I just started dance last year and there are people that are so much better then me and they only push me to get better and better so start... The only way to get better is to practice and that's what I do every day

I'm 26, and I started dancing 1 year ago. I enjoy dancing a lot, this is my biggest passion, but I do wish I had started dancing when I was 12. Go for it!!!
everyone who wants to start dancing but is insecure because of the age, flexibility, physical strength, what others think or say: just do it. go for it. I actually wanted to start ballet and contemporary when I was 11 years old. A girl in my class told me that a friend of her wanted to start ballet although she is 11, she said how childish this is, she laughed, so I was afraid to ask my parents. I kept watching dance videos/tutorials on youtube. When I was 14 I started jazz, although I wanted to do ballet. It's fun, I like every single dance style but I love contemporary and ballet. Now I'm 15. Yesterday I had my first ballet class. My parents and friends are totally okay with it, they support me and are happy for me. I don't care about somebodys reaction anymore when I tell them that I just started ballet. I wish I could visit my younger self to tell her that she shouldn't be afraid of anything. Because this isn't possible I want to tell you: Don't be afraid of anything. Do what you love. Just do it. Go for it. You don't have to live somebody elses live. You have to live your own live. I started at age 9 and then quite when I was 12. But started back up the next year. I didn't start ballet till I was 14 though because the other studios I went to didn't really train ballet. I got on to point at the age of 16. So don't worry if you work hard you can be amazing!
you can start dance whenever you want if you are really passionate about it. I started when I was 3 or 4 but my friend started when she was 11.
+Kxmbxrlxyy as long as you have the passionate heart to dance and have the constant spirit of trying, you can become anyone at anytime. It only takes dedication and determination. So if you look up to amazing dancers as an inspiration, learn from them and do what you love and what makes you happy! :)

Oh my goodness. So far I've managed to stumble across the give me love video and that one led me to this one. By both I've been absolutely blown away and left breathless. I'm not really in to dance, I'm a volleyball/soccer player but oh my goodness I'm practically flabbergasted. You are absolutely amazing and make it seem effortless. Wow.

Well I started when I was 2 I did ballet modern contemporary lyrical and I still do them all.. its never to late to start dance ♡♡♡
I'm 22 myself, and I did dance back in high school, but I never got to do all the cool tricks because well...things happen you know. Anyhow, I want to start dancing again & I haven't danced in the longest so I will dance again as a beginner; but like the ladies above have said: "It's never too late to dance", so GO FOR IT girl! I believe that a great dancer is not only about the technique (as how some people say), but the passion & feeling a dancer conveys to the audience is what makes a GREAT dancer, the GREATEST! I think technique is just a plus, because anyone can have a great technique (of course with determination & dedication), but not everyone is capable to show passion & feeling while they perform on stage. Or am I wrong? :)

Yeah I also used to dance when I was like 13-14 and then stopped because of things..I think you right especially if your goal is to dance well for yourself and not for competitions,just cause you want it then you should just go and do it..I hope things will go great for both of us!:))

Hi there, my name is chiara and im a 12 year old dancer. i absoloutely love doing contemporary and i was just wondering if you could give me some tips. you are so graceful and calm!!
I know I'm probably not the person you were looking for advice from but oh well. My dance teacher said for choreography you need to have small breathers between every six movements. So you might go from turns to slowly splitting to the floor. It helps keep the routine fluid and neutral. 😊 love your profile pic BTW >•

Stretch everyday trust me you'll be flexible in no time :)) looking at how much more flexible your becoming each day will help keep you motivated oh and take ballet classes technique will help you so so much in contemporary + just as an extra tip gravity splits are really good for getting your straddle ;)

Anneli Kuech Practice makes perfect and there is no shortcut. The only way is to keep working hard. Good luck - I know you can do it.
Sometimes when I watch videos like this, even though I am only nine, it makes me feel inspired to become a amazing dancer but other times I can only ever wish to be such an amazing and beautiful dancer and you have made me feel like I can become a dancer so thank you so much!!!!!

Dance is something for everyone and anyone who wants to dance should dance because when i dance i forget about everything and i just feel my feet on the ground, and i only hear the music in my ears. Hey, I am 13 years old and I go to dance and acrobatics every Sunday and a contemporary class but I don't go because I don't really enjoy it but I think I will go for a session or to because you have really inspired me +LydiaPhillips to at least give it ago because you are so clean and graceful as you dance and I think in Contemporary you can really show and release our emotions. I have been chosen to do a solo performance at our yearly group (We do more than one a year ,, probably abut 12) I might use this song and a contemporary dance....... so thank you so so much.... your an INSPIRATION to many

just do it!! I danced from 4-9 then had to stop for family reasons, just started again the 2016 (so age 15) year and never made a better decision, the best thing you can do is just start, don't think, start!!

I'm a 10 year old female, and, well..This dance inspired me, to try dance. I actually wanted to do it for so long, but I don't have a room for dancing, enough money to take lessons, and nobody in my family is a dancer. The way you move is so smooth and flexible, as if you were water, and I love it. It's as if gravity doesn't exist when you dance, I can't help but feel touched.

After watching a few of your videos, I fell in love with dancing. I'd dance at home just for fun, and it felt so amazing! A couple of months later, I eventually plucked up enough courage to start dance classes. I will start contemporary dance this year during the school season (if that makes sense!). You've inspired me to do so much! The way you move is just so graceful! Keep making more videos, they're amazing!

Wow. I watched this today for the first time and I am truly inspired. I always loved watching people dance and I always wanted to dance but I never got the chance to start. Contemporary dance is so beautiful and this choreography is really hearttouching.
