Just sending encouragement your way. You are an inspiration for those of us that know about your channel. Don't overdo it, but as long as you are in a good healthy state of mind, getting outside is always good for the body. Careful on those narrow paved shoulders. Maybe better to face traffic if the option exists. Keep at it Mike.
Just want to throw out some ideas; I enjoy these videos because I coincidentally am also a software developer, have 2 electric skateboards, love camping and also gaming. However, while I think it's super cool that you merge tech with outdoors, I think it's pretty niche. I see most mainstream outdoor channels focus on really high production quality/b-roll, so my suggestion would perhaps look into getting a drone, and having a balance of shots where you're talking through your thought process, and also shots where the camera quality is very high and there's some music to replace the real-time audio to invoke emotion. I especially enjoyed around 1:20 because of this reason (wish the camera was higher resolution though)
Hi Mike, in case you're not aware, watching your videos gives us a sense of relaxation everytime you feature view of your nature trip. At the same time, you're showing us the reality of how hard and rewarding EV backpacking is. Rest if you need man, in all aspects. Glad to see your new video
Mike I just found your channel and I freaking love what you do man. I will keep watching as long as you keep making em. I was thinking about making my own youtube next year since I have an injury right now. Maybe we could collab at some point? I am a esk8er and a LDP amateur. Thanks for making good videos man and don't give up. Also, I wanted to tell you it's good to realise what type of karma you bring to yourself. Try to do something different next time and see if it offsets all of the things you didn't plan to happen. I believe in you man. Please don't give up. Laurent
@@MikeInTheWoods I probably managed to use a word combination that's banned. The longer the comment the higher the chance of this happening. Anyway I've always noticed something that really successful people say is that they succeeded, because they held on when others folded. Perseverance is key, don't give up. Also I don't consider any of your trips a failure, they were all learning experiences that helped people and gave you content
wow getting questioned by the police for being an innovative inventor and entrepreneur who likes to get outside and get exercise, what an upside down world we live in eh. at least he seemed to feel bad about bugging you
