Search in Amazon for journal elastic bands. They have what you are looking for with the shiny thing. They also have other styles, some of which are quite adorable.
Hi, Christina! I love your file folder projects full of ephemera! Your friend will love the one you made for her! Thanks for sharing your journal - I always enjoy your creativity! Praying your surgery goes well and that you heal quickly.
Your always such an inspiration to me Christina. I just love your videos. I wish I could tell you where to get the elastics with the silver bar on the end, but, alas, I've been looking for about 6 months now, but just dont know what to call them?? If I manage to find them, I'll send you a link. And If you could let me know that would also be great. I not too sure what surgery your having (I see your subscribers mentioning it), but I wish you all the very best. We'll all be thinking of you xxx
Hi Lorraine! For now I am knoting the elastic end. I know what they are called now; Elastic loops with barbs, there's probably another name too! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment! ♥
Hi@@ChristinaBetts Just ordered some from China. Had to buy them in a pack of 100 for $30 aud. (australian dollars). They come in white, black and dark pink. 20cms so not sure if they will be the correct ones, but im giving them a try. I'll let you know how I go xxx (will be a few though because the postage is so slow from china most of the time).
Hi Liz, I get my images from so many different places. Some images are free printables that I search for on Google, some images I purchase from Etsy, and some are stamps that stamp and color and cut out. :)
Hi Karen! You mean original 'book' right? Here is the link to how I make my books. Instead of stapling the pages together I now use hemp cord to bind the pages. ruclips.net/video/xsXmr876enY/видео.html
I wish i knew what the silver bits were called too. Could you tie the elastic in a knot instead of using the silver bit? You probably wouldn't see the knot x
I always love these videos Christina! You're always such an inspiration to me and I LOVE your beautiful style. Thanks for the file folder idea, I'm going to use it to send some happy mail. :)
As always, Christina, I so enjoyed your video. 😊 I fully agree, this sort of creative project allows for a number of things in one journal. And you do it so well! 👍🏼🌷 I was wondering about your surgery and now I know it is later this month. My mother is undergoing a big surgery this month, too. May God bless you both so that you recover to complete health and vigour soon. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 ❤️ San
Off topic and do hope both surgeries and recovery went well. I’ve never seen anyone with the same nickname as me - many Cassandra’s but you’re the first San in my 53 years!
Love your journals... Try a search on Amazon for “elastic loops with barbs”. I did not see the actual loop ones but found double ended barbs. There was a pack of 50 for 7.99. Funny how you have to search using odd terms like barbs. They are also called t ends. Good luck!
One more find for you... finishlinecorp .com. They have a set of brown loops in the clearance 20.00 100 pieces. At the very least it will help you find the correct search terms. Ok...that is all I have. Have a lovely day.
Hi Christina. Love the journal as always. I'm glad you were able to use the goodies. I love your art journal to. I have done those also and have so many books prep .I have been working on a hymn book , If you haven't saw it check it out when you have a min. Some are posted on my IG.tfs ❤ Rhonda
