The Non-Canon Expert explains why the Sith Lord Count Dooku did not have Sith eyes, despite his many years of apprenticeship under the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious.
It shows how selfless Dooku really is. He didn’t care about himself gaining all the power like Vader and Sidious did. He just wanted a less corrupt system in the galaxy since he though, rightly so, that the Jedi Order was corrupt.
Also the most classy Sith of them all. He could always have a proper conversation and he had deep respect for all his opponents.
I mean, he DID want to consolidate all power in the galaxy under a dark space wizard, so we should remember that "selfless" is not synonymous with "good".
The jedi order was not corrupt.
@@ddy7323 They were.
@@ddy7323 yeah they were
ddy 73 They definitely were, you should watch the Clone Wars
You know who does have yellow eyes?
Jar Jar, just saying.
Also every dathomirian zabrak
So did General Grievous.
Bob Hoskins It’s actually quite confirmed that he was supposed to be, but they backed out of the Idea and replaced him in Episode 2 with, ironically enough, Dooku.
Game Time Source?
Gregorio Pern there is no source it’s a lie
I always felt kinda bad for Dooku. I mean, yeah, Sidious treated all of his apprentices like shit, but at least Maul and Vader were actually intended as apprentices. Sidious only took Dooku so he'd have someone to do his bidding until he managed to turn Vader.
Maul was intended until Palps found more use in Dooku
Feelsbadman
Maul was made an assassin and not a sith apprentice so technically he got it worse than dooku cause he was more of a tool to sidious than dooku. Maul wasn't even thaught dark side force powers.
@@tekkara1548 He didn't actually care about him, just like he cared about no one. His apprentices, including Vader, were to him mere tools to manipulate to his advantage.
I agree with @DeluxeSlayer on the Maul stuff. He was never intended to be a true Sith, simply a Sith Assassin. Also on the Dooku stuff, he was shoehorned into the film due to backlash over Jar Jar. otherwise we would have gotten Darth Binks instead
Man’s trying his best.

Rest in peace Christopher Lee. You always brought something extra to a film with your acting. As Saruman and Dooku you were an integral part of the films that would define my childhood. If I would make only one complaint it is that George did let you do justice to your character.
+Gowan James Ditchburn - *"If I would make only one complaint it is that George did let you do justice to your character."* - Not trying to start a fight, I'm just making an observation: I don't think I've ever read a kind word online about George Lucas.
Aj Meyers I've found a few. Personally I see him like Peter Jackson. He did something really great, but then went mad with power over something and lost it completely.
That's cool, I've just never understood the universal hate. But I'm happy that people get that no Lucas = no GFFA. Cheers!
Aj Meyers What is GFFA?
Aj Meyers I bet that's why he sold to Disney. To take the hate off.him.
Fuck Disney. Legends for life.
I always admired Dooku, yes he was ultimately a pawn but he was one of the most powerfull force wielders and duelists of his time he could hold his own against any opponent for quite some time and he was even able to use force lightning without even using all that much of the dark side. shows you how powerfull he was, imagine what he could have done if he gave in into his fell anger and other dark emotions.
he was truly had both covered, the force and his saber skill
that's kind of rare for a star wars character to have such a good skill in both
Sergeant Buttfist ಠ ͜ʖಠ *Stopitstravtime* he was like revan
Except Revan was much more powerful than Dooku, had Dark Lord of the Sith and his motivations were much different.
Devin Logan Bricker yeah but Dooku may have seen the greater good. Like qui gon ginn and revan
LJLvids Dooku was good but he was not one the strongest in anyway he was skilled and had a well rounded fencing skill. But before he turned to the dark he held a Green light saber. He was very ambitious and wanted to be a face of a new era and instead like you said he became a pawn. He was never trained to be a sith. Think that's why he had an odd looking saber. His skill in the force however I have to change my opinion on and say you have a point he was good in the force but I think his ambitions kept him from being the best.
He wasn't purely evil. He thought the Sith could help him achieve his goals. He thought their goals were aligned. (He was sorely mistaken)
The way to hell is paved by good intentions. It is not unknown for a good(ish) man to do bad things thinking that it is the only way to achieve good
Lol his reaction to "kill him" xD
The Jedi are evil ... it is Luca's representation that presents them as the bad guys.
Georgios Papadopoulos peace is a lie
What if he was a Jedi agent undercover??
One thing I did like about dooku is how he had respect for his opponents and at least attempted to negotiate before just straight trying to off his enemy. If anything he could’ve just become a gray Jedi. Not good, but not necessarily evil
Great Jedi or not a thing
You cannot use the light and Darkside of the force in tandem
The Darkside of the force corrupt those who use it there are only Sith and Jedi
@@naseemweathers8358 See, this is false and this is why people who don't know what they're talking about should stay out of discussion.
The Force is not black and white. You saying you can't use both sides of the force is incredibly ignorant because Mace Windu and Darth Revan did exactly that.
The Dark Side does not inherently corrupt it's users. It's users fall victim to it because they are weak of will, they are afraid and they are angry.
@@SpaceEmperorGenos i’ve been a Star Wars fan my whole life so I know what I’m talking about I’m not going to get into an argument with a immature person over something so trivial plus George Lucas even said it himself the Darkside of the force corrupt those who use it you cannot use both in tandem end of discussion
@@naseemweathers8358The grey jedi order did exist, it was created in 132 BBY by leor hal and leor danal.
Sith lord darth imperius did use light side and dark side in tandem, and to a lesser extent some jedis delved in the dark side when needed, even if it’s not a tandem like darth occlus. And not every sith is corrupted by the dark side, darth revan was never corrupted and used the dark side only as a tool.
“Therefore, we can conclude, therefore, no Sith eyes, therefore, Sith eyes, we can conclude.”-This entire video
That last quarter is brutal
Yeah, this guy is waaaaaaaaay overexplaining
He definitely said the same thing about 20 times in slightly different ways. I stopped watching with 3 minutes left. I figured 7.5 minutes of the same basic information was enough to really nail it home.
Interesting videos but he does the same thing in every single upload - repeating words, repeating points. I can't watch any more of it, padding at its worst.
Gotta hit those sweet 10 Minutes
maybe dooku actually did want to have obiwan help him kill palpatine.....
He revealed A LOT to him on Geonosis and spared his life above Coruscant (only immobilizing him). Dooku clearly had a lot of respect for Obi-Wan (being the padawan of his padawan) so that's actually pretty likely
@@zombieguyproducion in the novelization of ROTS he asked palpatine to spare obi wan because he was like a grandson to him.
@@robloxfanboy86 While that's not canon, it's pretty clear that he cared a lot for Obi-Wan. You could really see the dissapointment in Palpatines eyes when Dooku immobilized Obi-Wan rather than kill him
@@zombieguyproducion That might've been the moment Sidious knew he'd have to kill Dooku. That he would only ever be a disappointment to him as an acolyte. I think Dooku was more Grey than fallen.
What if Dooku was a spy/sleeper agent planted by the Jedi to gather intel/assassinate the current Sith lord..? I've never seen or heard anything to suggest this, but it might explain a few things... 🤔
I thought this said 'Why doesn't Dooku have eyes?' and got very scared for SWRC's mental health

Dooku isn’t really a sith lord. He is just a Jedi with a red lightsaber.
Bruh
I believe Dooku accumulated more overall duel victories than anyone else in SW.
That’s why his name is Darth Tyrannus
He used technique, rather than power
Dooku was a true sith lord but he wanted to control the dark side
Was it because he had the high ground?
DAN THE MAN no, you're underestimating his power
No he had the LAVA GROUND

Don't you mean.. The *"Eye ground"*..? I'll show myself out.
+ConorChaos LOL😄
i just see him as a an revolutionary leader who knew the jedi needed to fall and because of that went with the sith.
he was a true politician a true populist.
And a murderer and a crook. I love the character, but he was a bad man. Then again, he tried to warn Obi-Wan. He's a VERY tricky character to read. A great manipulator too.
jan holdijk It's a shame he had to die. Dooku would have been perfect in a governing body as third in command or something. Like a chancellor under the emperor or like a speaker of the house as in Congress.
Elliot Kouame name a politician that did not do a crooked thing or caused one to die wether directly or indirectly by his actions.
And he is a rather strange character as his goal is never fully clear.
However he wanted a type of take over or revolution that is sure.
Dooku was sort of that guy who wanted to change things for the better, but he just didn't go about it in the best way.
I thought it was because the Sith liked to smoke weed and that he just chose not to partake.
Todd Blalock me too. They don't know the power of the darkside lmao
Todd Blalock makes more sense then the prequels.
Makes sense. And yet, he possessed a bongsaber!
You will now witness the Full Powah of the Dank Side!
That would be quite the high . .
Count Dooku is either the weakest Sith, for not being fully immersed in the dark side of the force, or the smartest Sith/Jedi of them all, for manipulating so many political fronts, creating a confederacy, build an army for a war and even willingly working with a full fledged Sith Lord just for the sake of making his point; not even to rule the galaxy, just to proove the reality of political decay (which is wiser than acting like your average, power-hungry fool, sith). Indeed one of the most intriguing characters of them all.
I think he knew he did not want/could be a ruler. At least many of the others who did try to become a ruler. Try to become the most powerfull or whatever. And they would probably all have done rather well at it too.
Why is it wiser is basically something I wonder about. For it is more complex then the strait forward idea of getting to the top? Only I think if you ignore all the blocks to get there. Not to mention a lot of his views probably was not originally his alone.
i think he was the strongest to be honest he was literally holding back from having the full power of the dark side and he was still able to defeat Anakan SkyWalker and Obi-Wan at the same time not to mention give Yoda a run for his money
D: What? He had to pay?
Imagine an alternate universe to where the Jedi order, republic, rebels and all its members were evil and vice versa for the empire, first order ect
I would say the smartest
Because dooku wears contact lenses ;)
hehehe
Vulkan dammit, I just commented that! Bah, shoulda known it was to obvious a joke, lol
Dooku is my favorite Sith. He's one of the only Sith that goes against the Sith beliefs of living for power and themselves. He wanted to change the galaxy for what he believed was for the better, even if it meant using the dark side.
On top of that, he didn't even need to use the full power of the dark side to be the most talented lightsaber duelist in the galaxy! Unbeatable by anyone except Anakin Skywalker (in a dark side powered fury) or Palpatine.
Neonwarrior same
Neonwarrior yoda could have killed him
In that regard, I'd say he wasn't a sith, but rather a dark jedi. A dark jedi is a dark side user that doesn't endorse themself in the sith religion.
Dooku did occasionally have sith eyes. Sith eyes become apparent when a force user lets rage and hatred overcome them. That's why many sith lords didn't have sith eyes all the time.
Thats an interesting point, I wonder why Anakins eyes were like that when he killed the younglings? Maybe he hated that he was killing them?
@@lexgalexy8627 I think we should not interpretate every detail so deeply. In that scene the movie makers just wanted to make Anakin look as evil as possible.
Lex Galexy actually, he didn’t have them when he was killing them. He had them when did however have them when he killed the Separatist leaders.
@Lang Hansen I thought anakin had the eyes as he left the jedi temple with the clones
Dooku will always be one of my favorite sith. His mastery of the force and expertise in lightsaber combat has always made me a fan of his.
Iprodeltaelite i just thought he looked cool
He is my favorite and i cant see anyone taking his place
I think Dooku is more of a Grey Jedi then a Sith. He turned his back on the Jedi order, embrace aspects of the dark, but didn't seek ultimate power. the rule of two says the master embodies, the apprentice craves it. Dooku didn't grave power, he craved justice. if that meant taking the mantel of a sith lord, so be it. that is almost what a Grey Jedi would do.
He didn't seek ultimate power? Always wanted power and control.
It's stupid to generalize the Sith culture to one alignment of personality. That would be incredibly shallow. The Sith are an entire civilization, created by dissident priests and dark Jedi from the Jedi order, with its homeworld in Korriban and spawning a myriad worlds in its territory.
The rule of two was stablished by Darth bane, but it's not an absolute rule and the Sith may or may not follow it, as they may create new rules and forms to organize themselves...
Being a Sith does NOT mean being evil. The world isn't black and white
Who is the good and the bay side, is a matter or point of view. The Jedi try to kill anyone who uses the dark side, even on their own flanks, thus dark Jedi fleeing into exile and becoming dissidents, or the grey Jedi.
The Jedi are incredibly hypocritical and have commited many atrocities and war crimes in the name of balance and pretending to be good, they let slavery run free in the very republic and many other horrid practices, that's why count Doku left the Jedi and hated them, same with general Grievous who hated the Jedi for their crimes.
The force doesn't have light or dark side, its just the force
In my view the Jedi are the evil ones and the Sith can either be indeed evil or good, each Sith Lord has their own ideas and mentality
He wouldn't be a grey jedi, he'd be a dark jedi.
He has a red lightsaber and don’t you need to be fully immersed in the dark side in order to bleed the Kyber Crystal Red
It’s not explained in Disney canon how he got it but in legend I believe it was a synthetic one (like palpatine), because bleeding a crystal would have alerted the Jedi (and we know palpi love secrets)
tyrannus became a sith without anger
the anger makes the eyes sith
SuperMaximGlitchy1's Channel well that doesn’t mean much because Kylo and Ventress wee very Angry And never got Sith Eyes... You have to be fully in the Dark Side to get the Eyes... But even though They All wasn’t Doesn’t mean they weren’t deep in the Dark Side...
@@eaglesalldayable bruh u simply doesn't get the meaning of deep enough.
Dooku = using darkside to aid the light side. A typical " Light sith "
Quido Eekels grey jedi
Such DamnSKILLZ Pretty sure Luke is headed toward becoming grey jedi and abolishing the all or none methods of the jedi and sith both in the next two new SW flicks. Imo, true ballance of the force is an order of basically decent(but with shades of gray, lol) Gray Jedi tapping into both the light and the dark to serve the force as a whole, kinda like Roan Fel and the rest of his Imperial Knights in the Legacy comics.
He uses lightning, very much a Sith technique
Unless they changed the lore, using force lightning is a dark side force use. Since when has Luke used it in canon? Along with Plo Koon.
Not sure if KotoR is considered canon or not. But Jedi could use force lightning - it just took a lot more of their force power if they weren't dark aligned.
I’ve always had a lot of respect for Count Dooku
There were instances where he did have Yellow eyes like in the Clone Wars movie, during Anakin and Dooku's duel on Tatooine
i really like dooku as a character, but in the clone wars show, they kinda mess up his character imo
Joey Price how?
Kyon he took the more boss figure in the clone wars but in the prequel trilogy not as much
so how does that ruin his character?
Combine115 kinda what i mean
Nah, I like him in the Clone wars. His purpose there was to pose as the leader of the Separatists, so being a boss was kinda a requirement
He hadn't red eyes, because Christopher Lee just said: "No. I have spoken!"
7:58 Blue and red slightly hinting us that Dooku was in between two forces.
I swear Dooku would've done a good job if he became the emperor instead of Sidious.
felipe21279 Agreed, along with Vader.
Anyone could have done better, even Jar Jar.
@The Default Brothers Dooku never really fell, he was planning getting rid of Sidious and the Sith. He was the Severus Snape of Star Wars, he wanted to find out who was responsible for who trained the man who killed his apprentice. So he "joined" him only wanting to kill him to reform the republic.
Count Dooku is my favorite Jedi of all time but he was never truly evil he just wanted to fix the Jedi and he wasn't strong in the force being better with a lightsaber and I believe seeing how strong Anakin was gave Sidious the want to switch both out for they both used each other to reach their end goal Dooku didn't just fear Sidious he hated him and wanted to kill him the whole time
Dooku even asked Obi-Wan to help him destroy the Sith so Dooku was only Sith for it's uses and wanted to get rid of them in the future in exchange for a more improved Jedi Order.
"Wasn't strong in the Force" ?? Where you did you get that appraisal, Dooku was a beast with the Force, he bested Yoda, Obi-Won and Anakin all in one fight and would best them again in separate engagements. His Force feats through out the numerous shows and books is well documented. You need to do your research son. Dooku 2020!!!
ParagonRex Yeah he clearly doesn’t understand Dooku there were only 3 force users better than him, 4 if you count Anakin. He’s the only Sith besides Palpatine that knows how to use Force Lightning
@@KingTChalla69 Agreed this is part of the problem of Disney Star Wars it is a disaster for the real Canon or Legends as we know it now. These fair weather fans don't know shit about real Star Wars. No true fan would ever have said that THE Count Dooku was weak in the force. Yoda acknowledged him as the greatest of the Jedi
ParagonRex Facts!!! He’s apart of THE Lost Twenty, even without his time as a Sith he would’ve been a top 5 force user during the Galactic Republic era.
So how did Palpatine not have sith eyes until he became deformed after the duel with Windu?
Windu pushed him over the limit, so he allowed the dark side to 100% consume him for all the power to fight Windu, so his force mask was dropped.
But by that logic of 'force masks' couldn't Dooku of just been using one then and since his dual with Anakin was more of a Surprise lose rather than "all the power to fight" so his 'force mask' never dropped.
P.S. - First time I am hearing of Force Masks
Also
Palpatine must of been a 100% dark side user to get to the position he did through all the scheming and manipulation he committed.
Mantisman™ Basically he wore a disguise, that's it.
I watched a separate video that explains that, Palpatine could hide his sith attributes of pain and anger and that's why he can switch it on and off
If you pay attention to all of the movies, it's only when a Sith (or Jedi) allow the pain and suffering of the dark side reach a certain level. Usually it's by physical pain, like losing a limb, and giving in to that pain and anger and letting it consume you with hate. Palpatine had it happen when he used force lightning and it rebounded into him, Anakin had it happen when he lost his legs on Mustafar vs Obi-Won. Every Sith Lord you see in the comics have extensive cybernetics, and everyone that does has those sith eyes.
It has to be the anger and/or hate from said pain that allows the cross over as a Jedi won't get sith eyes from pain alone.
"I'm just an innocent pawn!!"
-Nute Gunray,
TCW 2008
dooku only displayed sith eyes momentarily during the clone war series after slightly losing his cool against both anakin on tattoine and Obi-Wan was and anakin later in the series, but as I stated earlier only because he lost his cool and gave into the rage slightly
I love Dooku. He has always been one of my favourite Star Wars characters.
Dooku had discovered the power of moisturizer and contacts
Sidious didn't have Sith eyes until after he was scared by Mace, according to the movies.
Force mask
TBH this explanation makes sense. However, Dooku could've used a masking technique like Palpatine did for years. Dooku would've needed to maintain his respectable face to lead the separatists so it would make sense he would mask his sith corruption.
Dooku had Sith eyes a few times during the clone wars, but he hid them most of the time
In the KOTR trailer with the father and two sons remember how the white ones eyes changed so fast and then back after he killed his brother. He had an intense flash of the power of the dark side
Sidious didn’t have sith eyes either. Not until he blew his cover.
Harrison Baylor that’s because he was using a technique named « force mask » you can look it up in a video
Sinyamana Anzuruni that’s my point. Couldn’t we just say that dooku was doing the same thing? For political reasons.
@@harrisonbaylor1432 Dooku has Sith eyes at rare times during the Clone Wars show, particularily when he uses Dark Side powers. One example is when he trains Savage Opress and uses Force Lightning to punish his failure, there's one moment where the camera is on Dooku's face as he uses it and, if you look closely, you can see he has Sith eyes.
@@vynonyoutube1418 "Savage Opress", still possibly the dumbest name in SW lol
@@romusz completely agreed. No hate on clone wars though
Sith eyes didn't fit him. He's too classy to wear something that doesen't fit him
Literally could’ve made the 10 minute video 10 seconds and said “he didn’t have red eyes cause he didn’t care”
Dooku: I have a one bladed and curved lightsaber
Inquistors: We have double bladed lightsabers that can let us fly
This explanation of being totally immersed in the dark side doesn’t really work. Palpatine was definitely completely and utterly immersed in the dark side throughout the prequel trilogy, but his Sith eyes didn’t show up until he was exposed as a Sith Lord. I believe it is more of an actual choice. I think they can choose when to exhibit Sith eyes. Didn’t Anakin go back and forth for a bit at the end of Revenge?
Yes and yes...was about to make this point myself
He’s not Angry Enough .
Doku usually was Calm
Unlike every other sith
Not like that sand hater
Dooku is truly the one person to study all aspects of the force
When obi wan was captured and Dooku told him that the senate was being ran by a Sith Lord, he was right. Why don’t more people pay attention to this fact? He tried to tell them but they wouldn’t listen...
Summary of the video:
He just wanted a better government and not power or even plotted to overthrow palpatine
Dooku never completely gave in to the darkness
I originally assumed he used the same technique that sidius did to hide his sith eyes before he became the emperor given how he was still meant to hide in plain sight sometimes as the war went on
Take a drink every time he says “sith eyes”
Interestingly, in Clone Wars the artists corrected this and finally gave Tyrannus his Sith's eyes.
Always drink when you here "dark side" and "sith eyes". Thank me later cheers
We see him use his lighting, we never saw darth maul or Anakin do that the only other person was darth sidious.
So why did Palpatine not have Sith eyes and mutation until Mace showed up? Wasn't Palpatine deeply connected to the dark side of the force? It seemed he very much was.
eurosensazion he clicked hide sith corruption in SWTOR
eurosensazion he had a natural gift to hide his powers
I think the dark side is like the seven deadly sins, sith eyes come from wrath. Dooku wasn't wrathful that is why he didn't have sith eyes.
Christopher Lee didnt like wearing contacts
This video is a very good argument that Chancellor Palpatine was hiding his true appearance until the final battle with Mace Windu.
Palps was always a sith during eps 1, 2 and 3, he hid his true identify which nobody seems as a big deal.
Dooku knew he wasnt going to be the focal point of power in the galaxy. He just wanted to use his powers to make in his view a better galaxy for everyone.
Put the speed on 1.25 or 1.5
Another thing is, that Dooku was always emotionally stable, for the most part calm and collected - not prone to outbursts of rage or fear like Anakin, though he was passionate in his desire to clean up the corruption in both the Republic and the Jedi Order, he was never overcome by passion, but throughout his appearances were in control of his own faculties and dedicated to his purpose.
He acted not out of hate, fear, or desire - but rather a rational understanding of the flaws of the existing political order, and a logical approach to fixing it; by overthrowing the Republic in favor of an (in his mind) incorruptible Empire.
Out of all the Sith Lords, Dooku was the least evil. He was duped by Palpatine because he genuinely wanted to get rid of corruption and complacency in Galactic Politics and save the universe from itself. He wasn't selfish like Anakin who sacrificed the Jedi to save Padme, only to lose both. He wasn't a killing machine like Darth Maul, who never had a life outside of being Palpatine's instrument. He wasn't a machiavellian sociopath like Palpatine either. Dooku was almost decent, for a villain...
When you need to fluff out the word count of your video to pad the run time to 10 minutes to start making money
Broke: He just wanst powerful enough
Woke: he was good the whole time
I fell bad for dooku i imagine him as like a 9 year old that just got told they get to go to Disney land thats just waiting and imagining what it will be like but then never going
He forgot his contacts
What if Dooku once he was defeated almost getting beheaded had his eyes turn yellow and started destroying everyone with the force
These videos are way more interesting than the prequels.
Jesus christ man keep repeating yourself great content
Thats how we know kylo will leave the dark side. Hes a goody goody at heart the eyes are the indication of wether a sith is too far gone or not no sith eyes high chance of being saved from the dark side.
I thought Disney messed up important details like that tho
thats why master yoda feel so heart break when hes hearing dooku death, master yoda still have a faith to dooku and still wants to turn him back to the light side because dooku isn't fall that deep to the dark side
but i like dooku he was interested sith and a good jdei palpating was no sith to me he failed ,to all how like him i will say winning isn't everything but wanting to win is.
Why Didn't Dooku Have Sith Eyes? Space-age contacts...
"Double the pride, double the fall"
*twice the pride
Adding some background music appropriate to the topic matter would be so amazing
Sidious taught him how to hide it the same way as he did
(before I even finish the video) a quote from TeamFourStar's DBZA comes to mind as an explanation: "Pure rage, Gohan: Pure rage."
Dooku did show Sith eyes are times when using Sith lightning. It is shown when he electrocuted Savage Oppress during his time training him
No views, No likes or dislikes, cool
You even beat me on this one Iacobus! :) I hope that you enjoyed the video.
ACguernica he was just there to avenge Qui-Gon by thinking Sidious truly wanted to change the corrupt Government
Ptolemy wtf
“Harumph! GENTLEMEN don’t allow themselves to get yellow eyes!” Sips wine
Dooku had sith eyes in the clone wars when he advised Savage opress after he failed in lifting stones by the force, that is, he was a ruff, but he did not give himself completely to the dark side and controlled it
My cat has yellow eyes.
It all makes sense now.
The reason I though Dooku didn't have Sith eye's was because he was also using the 'Mask' to keep his fall to the Dark Side secret until the last moment. But also because of Dooku's advanced age (for a Human) he literally couldn't take the physical effects of going too far into the Dark Side. Since it would more than likely crippled his already elderly body. Its not a coincidence that technically Dooku is the oldest Sith we have ever seen on screen.
“For good or for evil, there’s nothing wrong with holding to your beliefs. If killing one person will save millions, then I will be evil.”
Simple. He wouldn't have been able to hide among Jedi, and writers could not find a way around that.
So basically Dooku was more misguided than actually evil.
I was thinking he just had more control over it
Because Christopher Lee ain’t goin’ for yellow contact lenses.
He didnt want to fall to the darkside he wanted to exploit it
Palpatine didn't have Sith eyes until mace kicked his ass
The answer is simple, Christopher Lee had worn contact lenses as a younger man while portraying Dracula in several movies. He found them physically painful to wear to the point of being excruciating so he refused to wear them again.
He didn't fell to the dark side, he was not egoistic enough
i guess Darth Sidius can turn his eyes into normal eyes at will whenever he pretends to be Palpatine all those time...
He did but only in a few scenes and not in the movies
Wow you really tried hard on this one to fill those 10 minutes up
Sorry, that argument does not hold up. Darth Didiois did not have "Sith eyes" as Senator Palpatine and neither his immense power nor immersion into the dark side should be up to question.
It also makes no sense to find an in-universe explanation for all the inconsistencies the writers and graphic designers sign responsible for and only wanted something looking cool and badads when needed, not bothering to wonder how or why it got there
Yeh sounds like Dooku Held Back Siddious was Really Pleased when Anakin Was Getting the Better Of Dooku I think Siddious knew that all along Darth Maul called Him a Sith Pretender Great Video
Count Dooku didn't fully immerse himself deep enough into the Dark Side of the Force to Experience the Physical effects of Dark Side Corruption!
