I grew up in a house directly across the street. I remember having vivid dreams of being in a battle. This was before a really knew what the Civil War was all about. Spent many nights on camp outs in those very woods.
I saw some kind of light colored blob blow by at 2:49. What did it seem like to you? I found this video because I'm moving to this area in about a month and wondered if there is any truth to this place seeming "haunted".
@gamblse: That's pretty creepy. Whereabouts in the park did that happen? Also, do you jog on the Cheatham Hill side or the K'saw Mtn. side? My brother and I like to hike from Burnt Hickory Rd. to the visitor center and back but we've never done the stuff south of Burnt Hickory. It doesn't seem like you'd get the same cardio out of that hike because it's not as hilly. I'm guessing the above vid was shot down there somewhere, because I don't recognize the surroundings.

Ok i am a ghost hunter and i have to say its a mass of somesort watch it pausing it whatever the mass is moves faster than the movement of the camera about twice the speed. So im believing that something is out there and you can watch it come out of nowhere. This might be a great ghost capture. something is deffinately out there moving no doubt about that and im leaning twords something trying to manifest being paranormal/Ghost thanks for the great capture Grant from Ghost and Paranormal Seekers
What's all the activity at 3:10 to 3:17? Looks like men at the base of the trees (lighter trees) then looks like men on horses in the darker trees, with a flag, then they move to the left and disappear into the trees on the far left.
@Fulita76 also do u notice a smaller, fainter one going in the same direction at about 2:45? I watched it frame by frame and can't tell what they could be. In real time, it doesn't seem to move like a rabbit. Who knows.
I definitely noticed it and my first thought was possibly a rabbit coming out of hiding. It's really hard to tell with the poor video quality. Personally, I would have made a surprised remark if something jumped out of hiding like that. It seems as though you didn't even notice it at the time. This is a good mystery that may never be solved. I can't see it being anything bigger than a rabbit because it's in the grass right next to the trail.

upon looking again, the whole top left hand corner is full of different faces, they become clearer when you put the film on theater mode, you get a better picture. great photos! it seems like you walked through a time warp...just for a few seconds, but wow, great movie!
Ladies and gentlemen, I might suggest, besides the people should show a little more respect to the others -"manners maketh man...", as someone said, to pay attention carefully near to the beginig of film. In this video we all can see something that appears at 0:41 secs, in the middle of the foliage to the left, between 10 and 11 of clock. It seems to me like a human figure dressed with a blue shirt, and forage cap with something like a rifle in hands. As I said, starting at 0:41 secs,the figure goes walking up the hill almost parallel to the camera and desappearing suddenly at 0:43 secs. It's quite interesting indeed. Thank's.

I have no idea what the hell it is. If you pause at 2:49 you can definitely see something for a split second though. For a moment I thought it was a deer. I've seen a lot of deer up there myself. A deer would have made more noise though. You would have heard it ruffling the foliage because it was moving and was very close to you. OK Johnny, pay attention at the left of the hill path, among the bushes when the person who films is on his way up. Just a little bit before the scene where a little girl is going around. Between the 38 and 43 secs of the video, you can see appear for a brief lapse, in a small clear among the forest, a human figure it in ancient uniform. It is there, a military man as a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure. A couple of persons to whom I show the video, could witness what I'm telling ya, even though they couldn't see it at first eather. Be patient and try it harder.
the only other possibility is your camera is slightly choppy and it could be causing a glitch or a blur the camera could have messed up right there seen it alot before. But i am still leaning twords paranormal because the movement of the object how fast it darts off of the screen that is exactly what spirits and ghosts do they can move in a high rate of speed. I really didn't see anything significant due to lack of filming skills but if the camera was still and filmed in the direction to where the ghost was going it would have probably been a good video also we do not shout around our ww1 or ww2 memorials nowhere in Europe where battles took place is where the guys rest after the fear and chaos they witnessed before falling but fair play for the effort
if you stop at 249, and look at the left hand corner of the screen, you will see a blurry face in the bush, about 1/2 inch in and 1/4 inch down...very good ghost catch. it looks like it is wearing some sort of forage cap (which may have been worn by enlisted men in the battle?) - not sure, but def something there. very good catch

about 1:31 - 1:35 very very quick, you have to play it back a few times, and then your eyes can catch them...look at the trees as they walk the path, from the treeline moving fast towards the tree, see thru images, but play it back and there are two or three figures, rear figure has a frock coat on...front figure has arms raised...if you pause the video, and simply move the slider straight to 1:33 you can see what looks to be a flag bearer?
