  • We Drew Remy At Disneyland's Animation Academy - Or At Least We Tried To!
We had been to Disney World in the past, and were shown how to draw characters, but it had been a long time ago. So on a visit to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, we went to the Animation Academy in DCA to do it again! The Animation Academy houses "Turtle Talk With Crush", the "Animation Courtyard" gallery, and the "Sorcerer's Workshop". There was also an Elsa and Anna Meet & Greet in the "Character Close-Up" area when we were there, but that's probably subject to change. Drawing classes occur every 30 minutes and last for approximately 15 minutes. Anyone can join a class, available seating permitting. On a busy day, you might have to wait for a while, but on the evening we went, we were able to get right in. Our instructor, Sandra, was very good, and she helped us draw Remy, from Ratatouille. Even though neither of us are good at drawing, with her help, our Remy's actually turned out pretty good! This was a fun experience, and if you have the time in your day to do it, we'd highly recommend it!
