I love my trek fuel ex, I want to upgrade from the ex 8 to the carbon models but I'm not a fan of the new colour schemes trek is using. But I'm sure I'll come around and like them.

Nice!! Do you remember what spacers you used on the bottom bracket/crank spindle? I saw what SRAM recommends but it seems like that would create a good kink in the chain when using the largest cog. Just curious what you ended up with. Tx!

Does the trek top cup stick out above the frame about 1mm? I can't seem to be able to fully seat it.

You're talking about the headset cap, yeah? If so, that is correct, you will be able to see a tiny space between the cap and the frame.

I dont get the new Fuel EX... Everything makes the bike perfect from its progression and adjustments, Mulletable etc BUT why in all hell does it have a low stack height???? included is a super small head tube length.... WHY WHY WHY, So close to making the best trail bike
