I watched this video today while walking around Target with 2 of these and some Hoops Premium Stock in my cart. I had one pack with 2/4 cards having base Puka. Then pulled a neon green #180/499. what a weird day. 😳
Yep, that's exactly how i's gonna go moving forward. Most people are going to dip out and there will only be resellers and breakers left and they'll have no customers to sell to except between themselves but the problem there is that there won't be any profit to be had between them so it'll eventually cause them all to go out of business. And those who quit real jobs to break or start youtube channels etc. will be left in the dust... possibly losing their houses, family etc. All because of greed. Retail is bad enough at the prices they're getting to and if people think the average collector is gonna buy several boxes of hobby boxes each month they're out of the their minds. Hardly ANYONE has that type of disposable income, especially in today's economy and with Bidenomics in full effect. Our only hope is that Fanatics gets it right and brings things back to an even keel.
Walmarts in MA have been selling blaster boxes of NBA select and optic at $35. Just noticed Mosaic at Target also going for $35. $35 is unfortunately now the norm
@aidan8764 I don't usually find much at my local box stores. They get wiped clean of the good stuff an hour or two after they're put out. I'm near Worcester and there's professional resellers here. It sucks for the hobby. I do my shopping online
Looks like your cards arrived as they should from Target: crushed and bent. My favorite experience was when I received 3 blasters from Target shipped in a used Panini case box with no stuffing to protect the blasters.
I've ripped about 80 boxes so far hit 3 zebras. The cost of boxes is insane. And the value of singles is going down, so it's starting to not make a ton of sense (not that it ever did, haha). In some cases, the case hit is worth less than the case (many cases). Making the chase less appealing for people like me. Wonder when it'll hit a breaking point. Wild. Nice video. What are the best sleeves and top loaders to buy? But not crazy money though. I got some descent hits on two retail boxes at Walmart of the 2024 Topps Chrome U.S. Olympics and I want to keep them looking good.

Value packs might be a better choice, financially speaking, for retail. $1(ish) per card and you still get the die-cuts and parrallels etc. Im sure hitting #'d or case hits is really tough but so is any retail format. I opened 9 value packs and had a similar result as your 6 boxes minus the #d cards.
Panini smart!!! Increase the price from 30 to 35$ . The blaster boxes still sold out !!!! Customers who are ripping retails boxes always addicted to this kind of gambling. If I was panini I would increase from 35-40 next year , people ripping details are insane- they addicted to gambling .
How are you getting yours from Target when the bots are literally swiping them within milliseconds of their drop? There's no way you were able to check out... at least without some sort of trick you know of.
I follow a person on twitter that sends out notifications when boxes go live and i just happened to be awake feeding my twins when these went live. Got lucky with this one considering i got zero optic from target this year

There's absolutely no way you were able to check out not just once with a full cart of 3 boxes but TWICE at checkout when it's literally almost completely impossible to get the first order of 3 in.... Rediculous pricing! Rather spend Another $180 on Ohtani Boxes than 2 select football Blasters for almost $38 after taxes crazzy! So a cass of Blasters i saw somebody hit a Zebra Die cut AR-15 Zebra but nice Preview thanks

Who else has given up on trying to even find retail cards? Everywhere I go in Dallas/Fort Worth the shelves are bare or have some crap product on it.

I worked at target for a short period of time. It’s usually unloading the truck, or the trucks ride that smashes a lot tbh. lol
