This is a really important film to watch right now. Norman Finkelstein was right then and he's right now.
It's very sad to see children indoctrinated into believing they are universally hated, which itself breeds hate and contempt for others. I find it mind boggling that that a people who endured such pain could think that what Israel perpetrates against Palestine is okay. The ADL is a very useful shield for Israel and the atrocities they commit.

It is already too late. The digital panopticon of the internet has not been kind to the Jews. They've basically, true or not, made themselves out to look exactly like the stereotypes of Jews. I've never harbored any feelings towards them one way or the other, but in the last 5 years or so, I've come to see them as an enemy, and baffling as it is, Pew Research tells me I'm right, with Jews hating whites and Christians even more than they hate Arabs and Muslims.

Im from poland and after 10 minutes I'm blown away by pure ignorance, hostility, and 'training' of hate in school. @@adas5698I remember speaking to a very angry lady in Krakow who said she was annoyed about the tourism at Auschwitz because other countries associate what happened there with Poland. I promptly told her that as a British person I was never taught in school or elsewhere that is was the fault of the Polish. In fact Poland was never brought up and the Germans were always blamed. I found it curious that she had that impression.

It's beyond insulting for polish people who died from germans, for polish jews who were polish, judaism is an religion after all. It got spread to the point where in certain countries they straight up call poland out for holocaust and starting WW2. Ofc Poland wasn't black and white and we had people who under pressure, fear or even willingly commited crimes. But we never collaborated, we never had systemic oppression of Jewish people like almost whole Europe for centuries before war. That's why Jewish people lived here what people seems to forget.
Post war poland changed a lot but we still value our pride, nation and in our core we are good, friendly and helping people. I happen to talk to a lot foreigners and Spanish, Dutch or Germans just confirmed that most of their media picture us just like that. Until they actually went there and met polish people and saw our country. We actually have internet, cars, different ethnics people, safe and nice cities and smaller towns, good food, normal life. Polish are just still a bit jelous and harsh on themselves, and that's what is presented also.

Today I yet again recommended this monumental film to a group of people as I've been doing for years. Sampling it again tonight I'm wishing I could shake that ADL entourage and ask them who they know that's ever moved from America to Israel because of "anti-Semitism". "A Zionist is a person who wants some other Jew to move to Israel"......

They took their food; they took their clothing. Their medicines and beds.
I often wondered why so many men were healthy looking and robust when some of the camps were liberated and why so many were emaciated and abused.
Just look to America at that time, Jewish Gangsters and criminals in N.Y.C, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, Cleveland, St. Louis, Miami preyed upon their own neighbors, robbed and killed their competitors.

All forms of tribalism result in a competition as to who has suffered more: merely an inverse (and perverse) form of egotism and Othering.
Some make the claim- people have to be taught to hate, while I doubt this, it does seem a lot of people in this film, have a new spin on it, they are taught that they are universally hated. No healthy person would develop such a way of thinking on their own.

I've already seen this great movie a couple of years ago, which to me, a descendant of assimilated Polish Jews, was a very strong experience (especially watching that scene with a hysterical reaction of that Israeli girl who didn't understand any Polish, yet she decided to claim that the Polish grandpa somehow badmouthed her... or also how that Israeli agent supervising the trip would set the Israeli teenagers against the Polish people even before they first set their feet in Poland).
We don't have enough of such good independent journalism, so even though I've already watched the video, I decided to buy the film on Yoav's website and I invite everyone who can afford it to do the same, please. :) We need to show our support for such good people like Yoav!

As polish it's not funny for me. That view goes around the world. We are seen and pictured like that not only in Israel but in half of the world, especially in America who has no idea even more than people in Europe or Israel. What a troubling documentary. The portrayal of the traumatization and grooming of children was particularly striking, as was the cultivation of a culture steeped in victimization and belligerence. Additionally, the conflation of anti-Semitism with anti-Zionism was not surprising. One may argue that organizations like the ADL and similar lobby groups are likely to contribute to any increase in anti-Semitism.

Its funny to me that Canadians, US Americans and Russians dont remember the purge of the Germans starting in ww1. USA and Canada declaring the German language as a war-crime, sorting out and destroying German literature, Music ect.
