I visited the farm shortly after Dynaformer retired and when I asked our guide about him he told me he was the worst stud on the farm and they didnt think much of him. I so wish I could have seen him! Maybe they just didnt like handling him more than they needed when he first arrived and didnt bring him out to show. To this day I'm suprised at how the guide remarked about him. Little did they know , I guess....
He was horrible to handle, but he was a very good sire of turf runners and then, of course, Barbaro. Our guide said they let him decide if he wanted to come out for the fans or not. On this Day he did come out, you can see how the handler stays a distance away from him. I must say tho, he had a great presence about him and commanded respect.
