    You gotta find a way to get these below $2000 for a home version. The wife won't let me spend what you're asking for a game.

      Lol, I actually was in the process of ordering when the wife caught me and needless to say she was angry. The thing is that she was all for it had it been no more than $2500 (which would have included tax, shipping & handling). Well I guess we are in the same boat..............Unless..........(thought bubble, No Wife!)......lol jk.😉

      +JetEyeKnight360 haha its one of these , an arcade game or a pinball machine. My wife is opening up to a pinball machine but still they are even more expensive. Why do toys have to be so expensive?

      I bought one in 2004 and it has been played less than 100 games in 15 years. Just sits there.

    Can you explain how to remove the dome

    • @LoosMoose
      @LoosMoose 2 года назад +1

      The dome is hinged but held down by about 12-14 hex head bolts. The Allen wrench comes with the game but it is a common size. Once those are removed you can swing the dome off on the side with the ribbon cable that comes out from under the ice surface and goes up to the score board. You need to put something under it to support it, don't leave it handing on the piano hinge. You can then (if needed) remove the players by pulling straight up on them but you will leave one of the friction reducing washers/spacers under the ice surface loose to fall down between the rails. If you are careful you can replace skaters without removing the ice surface but this is not something that would happen unless it was an arcade machine and the gear boxes are being ripped up. The goalies are in separate boxes and ice surface does have to be removed to get them out. If you were thinking of playing the game without the dome, it won't work. If you want to completely remove the dome (repairs or restoration) you just remove the screws that hold the piano hinge in place and unplug the ribbon cable. You can adjust the two centermen and Left Defense about 1/4" further down their respective rails so that the other teams Right Defense can not hold the puck and line up (unchecked) the shove pass to his centerman. This is a common ploy by players that don't pass well on the fly. Both the Right Defense and the Center have the ability to hold the puck and be unchecked while they (painfully slowly) line up their pass. When you extend the center and LEFT defense their sticks come close enough to almost touch. I spoke to ICE about this back in the early 1980s when the game was new and was told that gap was intentionally designed into the game to allow less skilled players to get the puck to their center and score typically ending the game. In other words, get that game over and deposit more quarters makes the game more profitable.

    These are nice games but ridiculously overpriced. And how do you have a hockey game where the goalie has no stick?
