I'm a fan of both Wisconsin and Duke in college basketball, but I couldn't agree more that the Badgers got a raw deal in the 2015 championship. In the national semis, Duke easily beat Michigan State by 20 points, and the game wasn't even that close. In the other national semi, you had one of the greatest games in college basketball history, with Wisconsin defeating a previously undefeated Kentucky team. That should have been the national championship game. Had they been on opposite sides of the bracket, I think both Wisconsin and Kentucky would have fairly easily beat Michigan State and Duke. Playing just two nights after such an epic victory over Kentucky, you could see that midway through the 2nd half Wisconsin simply ran out of gas. And still Duke only won by 5 points. If Wisconsin had a few more nights to recover from the Kentucky game, I think they beat Duke at least 9 out of 10 times! Duke got very lucky that year. At best they were the third best team in the nation.
@@jimmalachowsky4052 This claim can never be made. Duke won it therefore they are the #1 team in the nation. You can't change facts into hypothetical. I can also say 2019 Duke was 3-0 against the teams in the Natl Championship game so therefore they were the beat team that year.

2020. Should be Kansas Jayhawks. They ended the year as number 1. If the NCAA had given players the option of coming back the next year then I would be okay with not awarding a title, but because they said that the covid shortened season still counted as a year of eligibility used up, we should have a champion. Saying the eligibility is used up for that year is saying that a full season was played, well if a full season was played name a champion based on the season that was played.
