Insta360 has released the Go 3 - quite possibly my favorite action camera to date. The camera is tiny and magnetic like the previous Go 2, but with greatly improved image and audio quality. This is the action camera you want to use all the time. Its small and amazing. Also new is the new Action Pod. The Action Pod gives you a flippable screen with a touch menu interface. It also provides additional power to the Go 3 allowing up to 170 minutes of recording time. There are 4 mounting accessories included with the camera as well as an additional 4 mounting attachments available as well.

Is there no external mic jack? And easy to get files onto a phone, but how about a computer, seeing as there is no removable microSD? May have to stick with my Sony X3000.

This would be a great camera to carry around in my pocket. I'm looking for something to carry all the time instead of my Nikons. The imagge quality on my ipad 9th gen. isn't good enough for me.

Overheating management was a bit particular. Is this fix in the Go3?
Could you do a full vlogging of 30 minutes and let the camera roll?
I know it's an action camera, meaning your just supposed to capture tiny clip often rather than one big file
Can you configure the buzz when it start and when it ends recording ?

If it helps I went from go2 to go 3, I could record for around 20+ minutes haven't tried longer.
My go 2 barely last a minute before overheat

This camera compromises on video quality in favour of versatility. If they had both it would corner the market.
As a consumer, the marketing department really branded this wrong. Why does it have 360 in the name, if it isn’t a 360 degree camera, like the previous cameras? People are going to buy this and be disappointed.
Insta360 is the brand name (like DJI or Sony). Go3 is the product name. Having said that, I agree with you.
I put one on my wife's car. It's amazing to see where she goes and who she spend time with.
INSTA360 GO 2 was the worst camera I ever bought. I regret purchasing it so much. I have never sold any of the cameras I have ever bought but I would gladly sell my INSTA360 GO 2. The reason was that I never knew if it was taking video or pictures. I wanted to take a BTS video for a photo shoot but when I checked the footage later it was all just pictures. Terrible. I stopped using it after that incident. The separate monitor is a good idea so I can tell if it actually recording what I want.
awesome image quality? I've purchased a go3 and made some tests comparison with my old GoPro hero 8... no way... go3 also under the direct sun give me.back trash video quality, lot of noise... I don't know why all the RUclipsrs are saying that go3 has a good image quality. I'm gonna send mine back.
