Both excellent drams. GA is juicy. And I love the tea note on the Bunna. Looking forward to opening Bunna 12 Cask Strength this year. Keep up the good work. It really shows how much you like whiskey! It might be the yummy noises you are making or the smile that starts to spread on your face as you taste! 🥃

Thank you mate, I too am super keen on cracking open a bottle of my cask strength Bunna 12!

The Glenallachie is VERY good, but for me there's just something extra special about the Bunnahabhain. Bunna is an "always have in my cabinet" and Glenallachie is a "nice to have every now and then". And I can get the Bunna for $12 - $15 less that the Glenallachie. You're right, the Glenallachie is sweeter and the subtler, nutier profile of Bunna is more to my tastes. Great comparitive review.

Yeah this one by far has been the hardest (and the most fun) Versus I have done to date. As I say in the video any given day my choice would change, and I have plenty of both Bunna and GlenAllachie in my cabinet. Both great distilleries!

Congratulations for this great comparative tasting, my friend, you describe the whiskeys so well and you give so much life and expression to your tastings that they make you want to urgently serve yourself a generous measure of that whisky, and if you don't have it in your cabinets, go buy it immediately without without a doubt, man, the distilleries should make you a shareholder of them because of how you describe their whiskeys

Another great vid. I love your images for the flavour profiles. Your production is really slick. Good job!
I've tried Buna 12 and Glenallachie 15 ...I do like them, but I think that peaty marine Malts have spoiled these kind of whiskies for me. I can't help but going back to things like Ledaig over the fruity woody spicy whiskies... maybe I'll try Bunnahabhain again...
    P.s. "this is for science".
    . It's a hard life isn't it 😊

Hi, didn't see you cleanse your palate with water each time you switched malts.
Surely sipping one malt then the other will have confused your tasting assessment.

Yes, you are right great comment! I always clean my palate between sips for this exact reason, but I often cut it out of the videos when editing the shots to keep the flow of the video. Occasionally I will leave in the shots of me doing this, but yes you are absolutely right.
