I have a Transit 250 , it doesn 't have that kind of light and I want to add , what materials do you recommend and where can I buy them?
Did you end up adjusting these to your/client's liking? Picked up a set and honestly don't feel like the trim they supplied allows enough room for downward tilt. Curious how they ended up for you especially for on-road/legal use.
Hi Stephen, I agree with you, I tried to adjust them slightly downward and the pressure from the bumper plastic would not allow it. Trimming the lower lip of the fog light housing is what would need to be done to alleviate the stress on the light itself I think. I did not do this because then the outer snap-in plastic finish ring would probably not stay on and fall off lol. There is also no adjustment on the custom bracket itself due to it being such a tight spot as you may have found out. There is not really a good fix to allow for more of a downward tilt.
As for how it ended up, I lowered them as much as possible (a few millimeters) and that was as much as it would go down (although with continued driving it may have moved back to their original position). My customer did say that he had a few people flash their high beams at him from time to time. They are "technically a legal DOT light" due to the horizon cut-off lens, so for the people flashing at him in my opinion, is due more to the high light output perceived by the other driver and not so much the angle. The only reason I say this is that when I set the light angle originally on my shop wall, it was not perfect, but not crazy off if that makes sense.

Hi, my ford transit did not come with fog lights to start (its a 2021). Will the wiring be behind the plastic piece still? or does it need to be set up for fog lights from the start?
Are both the white and amber flog light distributions, or is one a driving beam?
Hi, one is a driving beam and one is a fog beam, they are sold in either 2x white or 2x amber configuration. If you want one of each like what is in the video you will need to call in and modify the order. Thank you for your question!
