As someone who loves Aloo Gobi in general, I love this song, and glad Weezer made this song. Probably the same dull routine I followed in my school as well as Aloo Gobi was always in my lunch, wish it was launched 10 years ago. Still, really connects to this quarantine life as well. Next song ideas: Poori Chole Roti Sabzi Rajma Chawal
For my friends outside of India. 'Aloo Gobi' literally translates to 'Potato-Cauliflower' - a very random dish served in India. Up there with the most random title to a song ever loll
First Snapcube randomly drops a casual cover of Aloo Gobi, then AGDQ reminds debuts a Wave Break speedrun. The internat demands I not sleep on this Weezer album.
Man the production on this album is immaculate. The lyrics are pure angst, just taken from a different perspective, and written in a way that is so Rivers. There are no electric guitars, but this song feels so authentically Weezer that if you told me another band wrote it, I'd ask if Rivers was involved in some way. Also, um, potato cauliflower.
This "you are not alone, someone else will be there with you" is one of the best and most beautiful mantra, really warming hearted, Enchanting and powerful ❤️thank you once again Weezer
Just heard this song for the first time today thanks to my daughter. She is a big fan of Weezer. She has played me other songs, but this is by far the best one I've heard. This is the best song I've heard in a long time 😊

Listening to this again it reminds me so much of the good life from Pinkerton. Maybe not the sound of it but the lyrics are very similar reminiscing back to a time that he wishes he could go back to
Weezer are pop rock masters. Sounding like those other pop rock masters, the Beatles, on their new album. I love the Serge Gainsbourg mention in this song. 🙃
Aloo gobi is a vegetarian dish from the Indian subcontinent made with potatoes, cauliflower, and Indian spices. It is popular in Indian and Pakistani cuisines. It is yellowish in colour due to the use of turmeric, and occasionally contains kalonji and curry leaves.
Everyones saying this album made this cry but this actually stopped my crying. When I first listened to it (like 2 weeks after release, I was a bit late) I was having a horrible day and I felt like every bad occurrence was my fault and this album literally restored my faith in living.
This album is one of their best. I like the Blue Album, Pinkerton and this one. The others have some good songs with a lot of fluff or just plain fluff, but these albums are full listen throughs!
Honestly this is my favorite track from the album. It made me cry because of how amazing it was. it reminded me why I fell in love with Weezer in the first place
@@ilovezubinflower , i actually got tired man. but its there in my playlist still; i keep my playlist on random and listen to music on commute to work. so when this song comes up, i welcome it and dont skip it.
This song doesn't make me missing up to Beethoven or Mozart. High quality of melody, harmony and rythm. Great intensity and great musical dynamics! Great job you guys!
My John Mayer playlist has been on repeat since the pandemic started. Never thought a day would come when a new Weezer playlist would replace it. "OK Human" is that good!
I wish they'd done more with that "I'd rather be a man on a mission" part and melody, sounds so sad and kinda adds something completely new to the song it's just too short
kinda sounds like a restrained pinkerton that cant express the aggression of that album but has the same theme and message. even the song structure and tone is similar
My wife and I love Aloo Gobi and only discovered because of this song. I was always scared of Indian food, which is just foolish, but this song helped me overcome. Shout out to our favorite place to order it from, The Kasthamandap Grill in Terre Haute, Indiana!
This album is one of the greatest they have produced and it is incredibly underrated. The strings and orchestral sounds with drums and great softer vocals. YES
This is the only song I've listened to since I heard the album, I was hoping this album release was just going to be Songs From the Black Hole but I'm pleasantly surprised. I feel nostalgic but I get to listen to something new, thank you Rivers/Weezer!
