What is the link for Solar Panel Power. There is confusion that Solar Panel Power and Solar Shades. I would like to order a blind with Solar Panel power to the Motorization
Which percentage opacity of solar shades did you use? I like these but trying to determine the percentage since I need ones that I can see out but have privacy during the day (I think they said the average is 5 percent) I probably have to mount mine outside the frame since it will be used in front of a sliding patio door.
We got the sheerweave which is 3-10% and it's pretty good for privacy. Unless it's a really sunny day, you can't see much from outside, but you can see everything well from the inside. 5% should work well too 👍
Hey RKD! I have not come across them nor have I looked for them tbh. I would doubt there would be much sound attenuation though. They're too thin for anything like that. Check out Hunter Douglas or Blinds Chalet. They might have something that works.
How did this work out? If the cells are in parallel putting tape on the two outside cells will reduce all of them. If they are in series they won’t work. How did it go?
So far no issues. Then again we don't bring them up and down every day. The panels are held on with clear double sided tape. I'm sure the efficiency is reduced a bit, but since it's clear it shouldn't impact them a lot.
I really needed to see the bracket installation piece of the video. I don't have the remote type of shades. I have the standard shades with a plastic beaded cord loop. The installation of the brackets is really hard. They included 2-1/2" screws which require a flathead screwdriver! Who uses flathead screws for this???? It's very difficult to get the 2 hooks from the plastic beaded cord side into the hook slots. Could really use some help.

Thank you.
Can you link those? I'm not finding motorized blinds that have solar panels to power them on Blindsgalore.

What's up from New York Sako!
Have you come across blinds like these that are advertised for sound attenuation? 🤷♂️
