Diamond has always been the most mysterious member of the 10 stone hearts up to now. His appearance and voice have never been revealed, my expectations for this character are growing over time.

By the way, for those who didn't notice or realize, the pacifier is *not* Opal's Stoneheart. It is shown both above his head in the character sprawl, as well as when all of the Stonehearts were shone together, and it very clearly has the same oval cut as Jade, Aventurine, and Topaz's.
Obsidian shares the JP VA with Shelltear from Overlord. She is 100% an vampire.

Yeah given that Topaz is the only confirmed part of this group full of people that exploits monkey's paw better than Kyubey that is a somewhat decent person, running into more than one someday in a future is going to be unfavourable.
Obsidian is totally inspired by Elizabeth Báthory. A noblewoman from Hungary who was accused of killing young women to drink & bath in their blood to maintain her youth thus another famous figure for vampires novels and movies.
Accurate assessment! I suggest looking at a character named Baobhan Sith from FGO - the design is uncannily similar to Obsidian's concept. 😊

She's not an inspiration for vampire novelists, she is THE inspiration for the most popular one... Well partially I suppose. We all know that the most popular vampire is Dracula, he quite literally started the trend. And what most people know is that Bram Stoker (author of Dracula) based the vampire from Vlad the Impaler, but he actually also based the vampire on several gothic horror stories, including Elizabeth Bathory.

"Obsidian" (Vampire Lady) is voiced by Erin Yevette (SP?) Aka: Arlecchino / Idyia from Genshin. And her JP VA did a vampire in the Overlord anime. So, she's got a 95% chance of being a vampire. Or at least SUPER vampire coded if, for some reason, Hoyo can't make a vampire character in China. I mean, she had bats on her windows, for goodness' sake!

Agreed! Everyone is saying he's a child or baby, when we just had a whole storyline with people that appear to be children but are actually adults (with poms). And if I've learned anything from FFXIV, lalafells are not to be underestimated...and so I'm betting we see Opal as a child at our own peril...

I think the diversity of members in the ten stonehearts is very fresh and this is why I like star rail so much😍😍😍😍 like it's representation of different humanoid species and a inorganic lifeform is very good approach for shaoji in terms of storytelling I mean IPC has a wide influence in different star systems and with the members of the stonehearts I mean it's kinda obvious that all of them were victims or very unfortunate in their lives in terms of wealth and I believe whoever Diamond is I firmly believe he may be the first accurate representation of a race of color looking forward to it 😍😍😍
Mina did kinda mention it, if you watched Yu Yu Hakusho the 'baby' does kinda give Koenma vibes

So, lore theorizing part.
The lever scale where they are throwing their Stones is to decide if they will be Defensive or Offensive in the Aeon War. Those who threw their stone into the red side of the scale are voting for punishing the other factions during the war, and those who threw their gems into the blue side, are voting besides protecting other faction's civillians from death during the war. (If the hammer will punish or protect basicly). And deciding Aventurine's verdict in the same time.
And the child (Opal) was responsible for Aventurine's trial. (In the end we saw that he'll come back to The Stonehearts.) Saphire has been punished for some unknown crime of his, Agate is suspected to be dead, and Diamond/Diamante is not a part of ge Stonehearts directly. Because if you count the stones in the end, there are 11 stones not 10. That's because Diamond is the leader but most likely isn't present in their meetings (not i person at least as these "tiny" things don't concern him that much).
