Thank you Chris so much. You have helped my lifelong problem of insomnia better than any medication.
So far, after months of sleep stories, this one is my favorite! I swear it gives me GREAT dreams!
The story itself is pretty interesting but Chris's voice is absolutely perfect. His voice is so calming and relaxing, yet interesting, so my mind doesn't wander like it did with other narrators. I've listened to this specific story, probably 20 times and only once did I make it to the end.
I keep hoping you do a part 2 to this story. I really liked the characters.

Some people enjoy having the talk down first. If it's not your cup of tea, just read the description of the video you're interested in and you should be able to find the time that the actual story begins, and you can just start listening from there

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it.
In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings' family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. For the reality of romance is no Disney love story.
Parents and siblings' family love is one of the strongest types of love there is. If romantic love is actually real, it would be one of the weakest types of love there is.

    • @SoothingPod

You're absolutely correct; modern times testify that marriages often seem to endure for shorter durations than the time invested in preparing the wedding itself. However, amidst this reality, genuine love and romance continue to bloom daily. While I understand your skepticism regarding the authenticity of romantic love, I also know numerous couples who deeply cherish and respect each other. Their enduring bonds serve as a constant reminder that true love persists and still can be found. :)
It appears that in exploring of our "newly given/achieved freedoms" over the past decades, we may have lost our way a bit. Sometimes, in order to demonstrate our freedom or potential, we make decisions without investing the necessary effort to address potential challenges. It seems that the art of good, old-fashioned conversations and communication has been somewhat lost along the way. What do you think? :)

@@SoothingPod Statistically speaking, women are happiest when single and childless in today's times. Also, women can have friends and biological family that they share a life with. We as humans need the presence of other humans in our lives yes. But we can live alone. We don’t need romantic relationships to survive. We do need love and support, but it can be from friends and family. It does not need to be from a romantic partner.
Studies also show that single women are far happier than their married peers, and that married women lose out in career earnings, career trajectory, health, and life expectancy compared to those single peers as well.
Married women live shorter lives, and report lower levels of happiness than women who never marry.
Also, according to many studies, women have higher rates of depression when married.

@@SoothingPod There's a lot of dangers and risks to romantic relationships, so they should be avoided. The concept of romance should be removed from this world.
Most parents hate the idea of their daughter dating and getting married someday and want them to be single for their whole life because of how dangerous romantic relationships are, while most of the time, they're ok with their daughter having platonic friends. That's because romantic relationships are far more dangerous than platonic relationships are.
Most parents (both fathers and mothers) who have daughters are hoping their daughter never dates or get married and remain single for their whole life because it's much safer to be single than it is to be in a romantic relationship.
Your parents will always love you even more than your romantic partner ever will so it's best to listen to them.
