the Phuket town night market held on Sundays is one of the most interesting markets . We have fond family memories of our last family trip all together on 2009 of the kids trying crickets what a blast and they wont ever try them again they tell me now as adults. Many bargains for shoppers as well as a massive variety of thai treats definitely visit it when you get back that way
It's nice to see Lloyd eat fried rice with a squeeze of lemon for flavor. Many foreigners do not know how to eat like this. It's nice that Mandy can read Thai correctly. And it's good to see you guys happy in Phuket. Even some things are expensive because it is a tourist attraction.
07:07 Thai sweets use pandan leaf to get the green color and the good fragrance. Almost Thai sweets use coconut milk, palm sugar even different one so no wonder when u said the sweet looks like kaoneo (sticky rice) mamuang (mango). The crab roll names หอยจ๊อ hoi-jō~.
I didn't think I was a subscriber at first but I'm leeched to your down to earth vibes and good info. Esp after the mount battur video. Watching your videos at 1am!
Yeah- I was thinking that! Mandy just radiates a kind of innocent enthusiasm whilst Lloyd gives off almost an air of reluctance as if he’s being dragged along against his will (which I’m sure is not the case!). They complement each other perfectly and seem a really genuine, lovely couple.
I just watched your video in Phuket. My husband and I will be there late September and will visit Phuket old town. It looks like a fun place with lots of coffee shops!
Old Town buildings gorgeous colours, reminds me of parts of Singapore 🇸🇬 You guys will love this story : In 1982 , I was 23. I was travelling thru Sri Lanka. When one day , on a beautiful lonely beach 🏖 in Hikkaduwa , we came across a lovely Swedish couple. We got chatting about our travels. They were telling us about this amazing “hidden gem” of an island 🏝 off the coast of Thailand 🇹🇭 They were raving about a few groovy hippie cafes & bungalows on the beach. It’s sounded so incredible. I got the couple to jott on a piece of note paper 📄 the name of this island. It was “Phuket”. Btw - I still have that bit of paper amongst travel memorabilia. 😜😎
You guys have such a different eye when filming. I love it keep it up. Keep different. And your numbers will go through the roof. 100;000 subscriptions easy Peasy
Cool video! By the way, those colorful houses are of "Sino-Portugal architectural style," and you can see them all over southeast Asian and southern China. There are a few of these houses in the Old Town that have been converted into museums, and can go in to take a look the interior of these historical buildings. They may charge you a few dollars, though. But it is totally worth it!
Google app or Google translate Both use Google lens ( open app. click on the camera icon point at sign and will convert to English for you ) No need to speak or read Thai. Amazing it is used in markets restaurants and tourist attractions last year. Not just Thai any language.
How do you conduct your searches for the accommodations you find? An app or website? I'm going to Thailand in Dec of 2022 and I'm researching all of my options.
Love your contents they're so inspiring! and i would love to know the location (the rooftop Mandy was sitting) at 0:24 , thanks! keep provide us more travel vlog!
At Khun Khun Jeed restaurant, they are famous for Rad Na, which is a kind of stir fried noodle soaked in gravy sauce. I had that when I ate there and it was 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 When you come back to Old Town Phuket again, I recommend you try a famous ice cream shop there called Torry’s Ice cream. The place is in the same alley way (soi) as the pink building with flowers where there were a bunch of people taking photo.
I will visit Phuket. What is the 4 or 5 star resort that you recommend that I book in? Is the grab service for transportation available in Phuket? What is the best beach and the best resort in it? Thank you. Your cooperation is appreciated in advance. Best regards
You should go to armenia 🇦🇲. We are from New Zealand and been to Thailand cambodia Vietnam and now in armenia. Most chill country and the people are the best. I give it 9 out of 10
I enjoyed 3 nights inc Sunday. Good stylish Turkish restaurant along the main drag too. Good transport links to get there thus avoiding the taxi mafia.
I'm going to phuket next month I'm so keen! Just wondering do they have lactose free milk at that cafe? That's the one I drink. My mum only drinks almond milk as well
Signature Dish of Khun Jeed Yod Pak Restaurant is Rad-Na (ราดหน้า ; [lâːt nâː]) . It is made with stir-fried wide rice noodles, a meat such as chicken, pork, or seafood , garlic, straw mushrooms, and gai lan (คะน้า; khana). The dish is then covered in a sauce made of stock and tapioca starch or cornstarch. It is seasoned with sweet soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Khanom thuai, or khanom thuai talai (Thai: ขนมถ้วย, ขนมถ้วยตะไล, Thai pronunciation: [kʰā.nǒm tʰûaj tā.lāj]), is a Thai dessert made from rice flour, coconut milk and sugar. Its name is derived from the small ceramic cups in which the dessert is cooked and distinctively served, which are called thuai talai ("talai" bowls). Ingredients may also include salt, eggs and pandan essence.
I Am Very Interested In Phuket Old Town (( Worth A Stop )) Night Market On Sun Looks Very Yummy. They Have Some Of The Biggest Scoops Of Ice Cream On The Street I Have Ever Seen. Those Crab Rolls Looked So Yummy & Made Me Hungry. I Could Feast On Them. Winner Hands Down In My Option. Excellent From Start To Finish.
If you go to Samui please check this out JUNGLE CLUB. The view alone is SPECTACULAR!! The food and drink are good too, not inly view. A bit pricey but worth every penny!
if you come to Hoi An that's the real old city, phuket is known as a beach resort city like Nha Trang and Da Nang but the food seems to be more expensive than Vietnam.
I ❤️ Phuket Old Town 🏫🏩🏤🏨🏦🕍because it has a traditional Thai dessert shops 🍞🥐🥨🫓 Thai ice cream shops🍧🍨🍦 Cake shops 🍰🎂 and a delicious local restaurant🍜🍝🍛 in Phuket, including a nice coffee shop 🍵☕️🫖sitting very comfortable.😉🤙
In your opinion is Phuket family friendly? During my research I'm finding a disturbing amount of RUclips videos about paid nightly companions if you catch my drift. I have four young children and we're a fairly conservative family I definitely don't want them exposed to like in your face stuff like that (and obs would try to avoid seedy parts of town, but is it possible to avoid??)
It’s a big misconception about Phuket. Phuket has more than 40 beautiful beaches around the island where most if not all are definitely family friendly. Avoid Patong beach (particularly Bangla road) for things you mentioned.
Hi, my husband and I just got back from Thailand, we stayed at Pullman resort Khao Lak, it’s 90 min from Phuket airport, but the resort is awesome and great for children( kids club, the childrens pool area is amazing)
@@Iggymeow khao Lak is great but too boring for a family with kids . Best advice as the others have mentioned don't go near Patong if you're concerned about the kids if they are not ready for that stuff . Almost any of the other beaches are fine I stay long term in Kamala / Bang Tao area .
Do you prefer to see trendy spots or historic places like this?
Mix of both!
Love how youz mix it up. The local spots and the authentic foods is always interesting. Great vids 👌
100 meters from Khun Jeed reataurant. There is on-on hotel appeared in the scene of “The Beach” in 2000, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
👌
How about making it YOUR CHALLENGE. Find the historic spots that is also trendy or the trendy spots where it has history!!! YEAH!!!
You need to come back to Old Phuket Town for their Sunday Evening Night Market. Big difference with way more street stalls, food and people.
love the Sunday night market
@best journey local me too
Your Thailand series if getting me so hyped for my trip there hopefully at the end of this year if everything works out!

Been planning a trip to Phuket and not addicted to beaches and nightlife, so Phuket town looks perfect- thanks for the video 👍🧡

Just curious. How many people have said that you guys look like Dave Batista and Gwyneth Palthrow 😁😎 Great vid btw 👍🏼🍻
Oh yeah! Stunt doubles!
@best journey local yes 😁😎👍🏼
Nice video, mixture of old and new is good. We shall be in Phuket in June looking forward to getting there. More food video clips, music is great.

We loved old Phuket. Best part of Phuket
Thumbs Up 👍

you can grab a box of coconut milk in the grocery store. it's cheap. just shake it and add to your favorite drink.
I enjoyed 3 nights inc Sunday. Good stylish Turkish restaurant along the main drag too. Good transport links to get there thus avoiding the taxi mafia.

Every Sunday there is street food. you should not miss it
Thailand are way better then Bali 🙄😁❤️🇹🇭welcome to 🇺🇸

You should have a look at Sametnangshe

Sweet soy saue

Would love it if you 2 come to Brisbane Australia to do a video at our partnered Thai Restaurants. You're welcome to our spare room!!
It is the noodle shop with the veggie
I was just there today!
Check out China Town especially at night. The sidewalk transforms into eateries with the best seafood.
❤❤❤❤❤
Good stuff!
ขนมที่ทานเรียกว่าขนมถ้วยนะคะ ทำจากกระทิมะพร้าวข้างบน ข้างล่างเป็นแป้งค่ะ เป็นขนมเก่าแก่ของชาวไทยค่ะ

You can ask for soy milk as it's something they drink regularly in Thailand :P
I hear that we can smoke weed legal in thai. Is that true and where can I buy it?
Wait, doesn't the white choc have dairy? Unless it's just white choc flavour
Nice trip, but bali is my no.1 list..
How tall are you guys?
Удачи!!!
💞😄👍
Good pronounced in Thai Mandy👍
