- The episode everybody was waiting for was finally released! As I expected, their story is tragic. Watching that episode was very exciting but also very heartbreaking. The moment I finished it, I directly opened Sony Vegas Pro and started editing their past story!
As the drama has only 2 episodes left, I now hope that Joonggil and Ryeon will be able to have peace and share the burden together. May they have a happy ending where they can at least move on from their regrets and be happy.

This show is so underrated. The writer tried the best to address mental health issues and why people came to decision to suicide. At the same it still have its own plot and story for each character. It maybe not bombastic nor dramatic. But I love how this drama has been written.
I think it's a type of drama that can be hard for some people to watch due to the hard subject it talk about. Tho, it's definitively well written and well done.

He’s basically a doppelgänger in a way as he only remembers his last life. Meaning he didn’t become a reaper in the life he had with her. Only in his next life did he do something to make him a reaper. So basically she knew who he was which is why she’s always looking at him that way. She doesn’t want him to remember her as she was the one who kind of left him. She knows all the pain she caused him. It seems like in his nightmares he’s seeing some snippets of that life that was locked away.

Probably, his regret is not being able to help his wife and prevent her from suicide. But still, such a tragic story for both of them. Can’t even imagine how she was going through this pain all alone, working with him side by side for more then 200 years.

Thats what I think too, he must be in deep regret that he couldnt protect Ryeon better and save her from that tragic end.
She is so strong for managing to work with him, knowing everything and even hearing him talk about it (with his nightmare).

I think she didn't know he was her husband. there's an episode where she's talking to the boss where she asks why he remembers her, if she (the boss) said he just looked like her, if she (the boss) said he only looked like her husband, then he shouldn't remember her. I think she didn't know it was him and only found out in this episode.
She suffered a lot. And I also can't imagine what it was like for her to work so long with him, remembering her husband and having to deal with all the pain. I hope they have a happy ending.
But I'm worried because there are only two episodes left and I don't know how they're going to do it... Because he still has to find out about the past, right? He still doesn't know. I really want the two of them together again.
He couldn’t understand her decision even in the context of their similarities. Like Boss said in the one episode that they are connected so much, despite being apart for so long (he came to propose the same solution, ask the boss of company few minutes before her). They felt the same. Trapped in the past life. Their feelings were only thing that could keep them alive by their sides. But she choose to let him go to be free without her burden. This was not suicide, that was sacrifice. Sacrifice everything she knew and had for him. That’s the look on her face every time that they met in company trough those years. She just done thing that should be. Hope for him to understand everything and save her from pain. Wish to see realization on his face when he will understand what he put her trough all those times, working with her, talking with her about suicide case. This show is magnificent. Script and their mature story is everything.
Truly amazing! I also cant wait to see whats going to happen when he gets to remember his past life with Ryeon and how he will react to it.

Right? Some people were saying Ms. Koo hated him, but I noticed the opposite. She seemed to always worry for him, I noticed because of her soft expression every time she sees him, and sometimes she doesn't even look at him like she was avoiding him.
@@Iliketea-px2qf Oh she definitively not hate him in my opinion too. She is someone quite cold when you don't know her but the moment you understand how she works you can clearly see that she looks at him fondly. I, indeed, think we saw her worry a lot for Joonggil throughout the whole drama.
About the avoiding to look at him, I think it's when it gets hard for her because she gets reminded of him as her husband and probably the pain they went through but it's definitively not because she hates him.

Episode 14 really reminded me of how humans can be so judgemental, and how men look down on women before, so low that they even think the women slept with the barbarians in order to escape, I loathe that kind of people... But Ep 14 also showed me how much of an independent badass Ms. Koo really is, even as a kid and as a grown-up woman. I'm proud of how strong she is, imagine for 400 years, the man she loves the most is right in front of her, yet so far. Mr. Park doesn't know what really happened between the two of them and he probably unintentionally reminded Ms. Koo of her regrets, and of how tragic her past is, I'm impressed she was able to hold on that long.
PS: There's like a rumor I've seen around that is about Ms. Koo being pregnant when she killed herself but she's not aware of the child. If it's actually true, then I think Choi is that child. He got reincarnated... Like, in his past life, he was also fighting for his country just like how Mr. Park did because he loved his country, and I think Choi and the Jade Emperor already met in his past life. It really puzzled me when the Jade Emperor said "You are still the same as ever" dude what? The way she said it is like she already knew Choi way before, and the fact that she trusted Choi enough to show him Ms. Koo's past. She locked it, and yet she showed Choi Ms. Koo's past, that's sus. And maybe the Jade Emperor hasn't picked up Ms. Koo from hell yet when Choi and the JE met. Damn, I have to wait for another week to confirm this theory, and wow, it's actually ending next week, I'm kinda excited and kinda don't want the drama to end 😭
EDIT: I also forgot to mention, that the fact that Choi is also so reckless just like Ms. Koo, is really giving me hints.
2nd Edit: Okay, my theory remains only as a theory, and the real truth, the ending is much better than how I expected it.
Victims if they are women are always blamed no matter the moment in time, it's annoying to see.
Koo Ryeon is probably one of the strongest character I've seen, she never gives up hope, she put herself at risk to save the others, she is just selfless and always put the others before her needs so much so that she even sacrificed herself so Joonggil wouldn't suffer from the rumors anymore and wouldn't turn into someone bad. She even worked with him for years, probably hurting in silence as she was the only one bearing this burden.. She's truly impressive and I look up to her character.
Oh yes, a lot of people love the theory that she was pregnant, I don't know if it's going to be used but with or without I think Choi Junwoong definitively has a role we haven't seen yet because of how much of Ryeon story he got to see + how he is the only character to seem to realise her broken red string.
I can't wait to see the next episodes but also don't want the drama to end either! It's just so good that I feel like my week ends are going to be empty without my weekly Tomorrow episodes..
Oh my god😭 I hope they have a happy ending. I hope Mr. Park remember his past soon. If Koo Ryeon is really pregnant when she suicided and it is Jun Woong I don't know how I will react😢 It is such a torture to wait for another episode every week.

@@ace29280 Yuh, I'm also glad some people are taking a stand now against our judgemental society and now that you mention it, I didn't really notice that the string was broken, and that Choi was the only one who can see it. I'm excited to see who he really is in Ms. Koo's life and who he was in his past life.
@@Iliketea-px2qf Maybe they are really connected in their past life. Like Choi Jun Woong is the only one who notices that string thing in Koo Ryeon's hand and even his colleague Ryung Gu whom she work for over hundred years didn't notice it.

"Tomorrow" is truly a wonderful piece, just when you think you're in a super dilemma others has it worse. The world is surely dark, scary, and sinful but the greater things life can offer to one can't be compared. Look properly at what’s beside one, look closely at what is at one's feet. Not just ahead, strain one's eyes to see what’s behind one. Look up at sky high up above sometimes. One's not living on your own, a better tomorrow will come. Thank you for getting as far as today, one of course didn't get this far just to give in now.

Finally! We get to see the missing pieces of their story. I thought at first Park Jung-Gil was like a serial killer because he killed people in early episode. Now after I watched the episode 14 I finally know that he just did that to protect his wife Koo Ryeon from the false rumors.
It was a long wait to see their full story but it was worth it!
Haha, I guessed pretty early that he probably was protecting Koo Ryeon so I wasn't surprised and was rooting for him to kill more if needed 😂

I actually had to stop the video and collect myself. I couldn't handle what happened so I was shaking. Society may have become better now but still, even in the 21st century, women are still being objectified and blamed for becoming the victim. I know someone in Bangladesh who had been abused by her husband and when she finally escaped and got the divorce all the blame fell on her when it was clear she was the victim from the bruises and injuries to the PTSD symptoms she was showing. Society still has a long way to go before we can have a world where everyone, regardless of sex or gender, is valued.
This drama is good of course it has it's shortcoming but the viewership is criminally underated. Pls give it a watch you all.
I especially like the female lead's acting in it. She has the screen presence.
More or less we have imagined their tragic past was correct but still hit so hard at ep 14. After watching their sweet moments then struggle then ultimate tragedy everything gave so much pain.

This is so heartbreaking, and so well written. What's interesting is that Joonggil is so harsh on people choosing death, but he can't remember the actual reason for it. It seems that something lingers, or he went through a similar loss in his more recent life. I'm sure that Jade Empress gave Ryeon this job not just to help others, but for her own resolution too. Maybe she decided that Ryeon has suffered beside Joonggil long enough? This is a very moving & thoughtful drama, although it is hard to watch sometimes. I'm expecting a beautiful, bittersweet ending ❤️
Joonggil stance on suicidal people probably coem from bitterness as he lost his loved one to it, he has the point of view of the people who are left behind while Koo Ryeon has the point of view of the one who commit it.. I think Joonggil might change his mind and be more sweet with people who commit suicide in the two last episodes, it would be a great character development!

I think that Ryeon had an arrangement with Jade Emperor so that Joong Gil did not suffer by erasing his memory . Remember she went to Jade Emperor right after he asked her why she was in his nightmare and whether she knew him from their past life. She mention that hewas suppose to be a different person , and not remember her and Jade Emperor said is that what your afraid off? And joong gil closed the little girls eyes from seeing her mother so that she won't suffer when she is reincarnated . The Jade Emperor did say that he need to know whether it is karma or a wound he need to heal. Seeing Ryeons body and his guilt would have been too painful to bare so I think Ryeon and Jade Emperor must have an arrangement for Ryeon to protect him. She remembers him why would she lie unless she wants to be aroun d him .......if the red thread is not broken , ryeon and joong gil would meet up in their next life reincarnated. But the red thread is broken , suppose their bond is cut and they should never meet. But Jade Emperor went down to hell to get Ryeon , the first place she work for 200 years is with Joong Gil.I do believe Jade Emperor has plan this , for them to meet ..clearly both of them has respect towards each other....maybe to mend the thread? The one link is Rowoon. How would he play in this cause Jade Emperor knows something...it would be a different story from the webtoon ....Hopefully its a happy ending, whether they are together or not and the writer don't keep us hanging , don't think theres going to be any other season . So really hope happy ending .

@@su_nature Well, for us it is because now we know what happened but Joonggil is still in the dark and probably wondering. I don't think it would be a waste of ressource, I think he needs to know what happened in order to make peace with his regrets just like Koo Ryeon.
As much as I would love them to be back together, I don't think it will happen but we never know so keep your hopes up if that's what you wish for!
God I still can’t get over them! 😭 I think what made it even worse for Yoonggil is when he died that first time after Ryeon and probably found out through a reaper that he would never get to see her again because their ties has been severed and she is in hell paying for taking her own life probably destroyed him even more and made him hate suicide cases even more. 😭😭 Because he would never have that closure, he would never see her again or be reincarnated with her in his life again. Thankfully they can still be in each other’s life in the land of death. 🙏🏼

His deepest regret was that he tried to protect her but couldn’t, so Jade Emperor removed or locked those memories. I still don’t know how it is that Koo Ryeon and Jonggil met in Jumadeung.

From what I understood Joonggil had another life after his life with Ryeon, I think he just decided to become a Grim Reaper after that second life and the Jade Empress decided to give a chance to Ryeon at that moment. I think the Jade Empress really feel sad for their story.
Only two episodes left, I can't believe the end is next week but I also can't wait to see it. I'm sure the end will be as good as the rest of the drama!

UGH I CANT STOP WATCHING EDITS OF THEM. i love them and i feel so sorry for them, they really need a good ending, they went through so much.
Most of these young kids die because what they hear what people say they listen too much to people's voices that can care less about them. I remember in high school I was in an anti-bullying club and there would be people coming from different states to talk to the young kids about their different stories there's just so many stories of kids taking their lives evil words really crush people's souls parents sharing their stories of how there kids lost their lives.
The judgment of people can be really hard to bear when you lack confidence or when it's constantly negative and putting you down. As strong as anyone can be, we all have a limit where it gets hard to support such treatment constantly. I wish people would be educated to not judge harshly/be rude/bully others. A lot of young people and even some advanced in life people suffer from this constantly. I hope that anyone suffering can find the help they deserve and not loose their life.
Ty sm, people whose unfortunate life should have lots of supporters and assistance (friends,family,etc.). They would be much stronger to face their challenges and handle difficulties

I know his mother didn't like her at the beginning. And unfortunately persuade suicide is some ancient stubborn elders would do. But after she listen and died, the way his mother plan to treat her body was very not acceptable. First she came from a noble family, and she married into your family as a first wife. But the way his mother want to treat her body is to wrap her in a straw mat and quickly burry her. Her treatment is as if she is some terrible criminal.
Thats how the MIL considered Koo Ryeon. I'm pretty sure she was believing the rumors. Funny how quick she was to forget that without Koo Ryein she would have been taken away too..
The worst evil MIL, she was the biggest barrier in their marriage, if she had supported Goo Ryeon, Goo Ryeon wont have taken that suicide decision.

He is a soldiet so he probably has to be in a certain area and if not, he is still important so people outside this town probably heard about it as well. I don't think running away from that town would have be a real solution to be honest.

Hope it’s a happy ending as this couple deserves happiness. Their marriage was blissful until invasion by China and gossipy town folks who thinks they are righteous. …she chooses the easy way out. Death. She left him to bear his sin alone. It doesn’t matter what people say. If she has done nothing to feel ashamed of she shouldn’t have commit suicide but live with her head held high. She feels like a very strong character who has gone a stray. I think if she has other stronger women as role models maybe she wouldn’t have leave him so soon.
When people commit suicide, they don’t save anyone - not them nor other. The people who has to bear punishment are the people left behind. Even when life is hard and we want everything to end - as long as we are able body, we must live on for the people who cares about us. Our partner. Our families. Our best friends.
She must have feel very powerless to stop the rumor and feel she is a
burden to him. She must have thought her death would serve him. Sigh. But does she think that he too feel powerless even more so because he couldn’t make her feel better or protect her from the evil of man’s heart and their bias judgment? If she does, idk why she thought committing suicide would be a good options. I probably won’t ever get it. But I am sad for him and for her.

Ryeon is so classy, she doesn't even tell Joonggil that his b**** mother literally told her to go kill herself (and provided the knife!!!) to save the family's honor. Such a heartbreaking story.

why did she commite suicide?
She got taken by barbarians then came back so she is a "Returning Lady" which was despised by people. She got harassed and decided to kill herself so that her husband wouldnt go berseck and kill everybody as he wanted to protect her.

She is a Returning Lady, it means she was taken away by barbarians and came back. People hated on Returning Lady saying they shared bed with the barbarians to escape. People in the town despised her for that and kept creating rumors such as "she is pregnant with a barbarian baby", "she sleep around with anyone" etc.. So her husband got a bit crazy about it and she decided to end her life to save him from becoming someone bad and save his reputation too!

I was thinking that too but someone reminded me that the Jade Empress promised to fulfill a wish of Ryeon if she saved a certain someone from killing themselves and during that scene the Jade Empress had taken Ryeon wrist to show her red string so I'm starting to ask myself if her request isn't to be able to be linked again to her loved one.. If it's possible then I really hope they will have a happy ending!

@@dollume yeah I saw the emphasis on that too. I saw that theory about Choi being her son, which the only possible way of that being true is if the day she committed suicide she was told by the director that she was pregnant (which she didn't know before killing herself) and by commenting suicide she broke that relationship with her unborn son as well. Because one thing we know is that she did not have any kids before doing that. Now, when the director went to get her from hell, the director said to Ryeon that she still didn't have any regrets for killing herself even after all the time she had been in hell, and how was that supposed to be hell for her if she had no regrets of what she has done, which makes sense because she killed herself for Park so she didn't regret that decision up to that point. So my thought with what the director said to Choi about him still being the same as ever, could be either two things: one, the director knows about Choi's previous life and that comment has something to do with that and we'll get to see a bit more of his previous life. or two, if you remember when Choi asked the director what was the goal that Ryeon and Ryung-gu had to be in the Risk team because he remembered that Ryung-gu told him that they both had goals to achieve at the Risk team and to not get them in trouble anymore, so the director said Choi "You really don't let anything slide, do you?" So for me she probably told him that he is still as ever because he hasn't changed that noisy part of him even after all the months that have passed because for me at these point its been about 5 months that he has been working at the company now.
