In an interview, when Danny was asked if he plays to a click track he responded: "There's been a few times I (we the band) have tried playing with a click track. But I found my drumming was not as organic nor dynamic. Which is the core of playing any instrument. And haven't used a click track since. " No drummer is a fan of a click track. But to play live without one given the many time signature changes Tool incorporates into their music shows not only the talent (and genius) behind Danny, but the entire band. And is one of the many reasons Tool bloody hell Rocks! (But there is another underlying message regarding click tracks, and music. Who says music is supposed to be "perfect"? Music comes from the soul, good music anyway. The soul is what produces emotions, and are they "perfect"? I do mean this in context naturally. Otherwise instead of music, you'd end up with a bunch of noise instead. Just something to think about, and I think its up to the individual or band to decide what tools to use to create their music - as long as it isn't cheating and letting computers do all the work claiming instead people and musicians were involved. PLaying live music to me anyway, is the greatest feeling next to sex.)

outstanding job…have you permanently left your hi-hat in the “half-open” DC configuration? If so, I’m curious to hear your thoughts ? I’m not 6’3 like DC. I saw him two nights ago in Denver and the hi-hat position makes him seem so comfortable and fluid . He’s that way all around the kit but the hi-hat seems to center the kit?…..anyways…..great work …

This song is really not that hard to play on drums. I played it damn near every day when I was a working drummer as a warm up. But I also have been a Tool fan since like 95 so maybe I have a feel for their weird time signatures. Any drummer out there that thinks this song is too hard, try playing it. You'll find it's not as scary as you think.
I've been playing drums for 30 years. They were my entire life until after college and I won many accolades. This song is easy to play along to, but note for note it's very very very hard.

Since this song is copyright protected the copyright owner (for example the record label) decides if the video is monetized and in which way. So when the Ads play and how many is up to the copyright owner, not the channel posting the video. Hope it was still enjoyable to watch :D
