Without a doubt, had the plaintiff not witnessed the accident, the daughter defendant would have driven off and never told anyone about hitting the neighbor's car. Her father taught her at a very young age to never admit or report any wrongdoing if there aren't any witnesses. The plaintiff standing there boastful, puffing his chest out cocky and prideful. He reminded me of birds blowing their chest feathers out to intimidate and appear larger. 😂
The plaintiff seems to have Napoleon syndrome. 😅

The Plaintiff was more than patient. That's not "peacocking", that's being fed up with the run around. I absolutely believe the Defendants acted as rude and arrogant as the Plaintiff says. The Defendant is complaining the insurance company didn't contact him until August. That's because they jerked the Plaintiff around for months. Defendant is such a liar and frankly I wouldn't want to live next to either of them.
....and FYI....a body shop charges $1000 just for pulling a car into the garage and saying hello!! There are virtually NO accidents that will only be a $200 or $300 fix anymore.

If the daughter would skip some visits to the Golden Corral, she would easily have the spare cash to fix the man's car.

1st of all the dad should have just fixed it before 8 months passed, that's crazy, but...
2nd of all the daughter hit the car and she's 18. I understand defending your daughter but when she clearly messed up, she should be the one paying as a lesson in responsibility

The defendant’s father is a crook & a liar and his daughter is spoiled 💯 if that were my child I would have paid the plaintiff in full and my child would go get a job in order to refund me that’s the bottom line !

American society is at the stage now where any sort of physical contact is deemed inappropriate and "creepy." Next up is to ban even handshakes and all interactions will be just bow and nod 🙄

@@Gandrewjm There's nothing wrong with a respectful bow and nod. Just ask the Japanese. /s But I see your point. I just never saw Doug get quite so "friendly".

In today's world, children are often raised in environments that lack honesty, accountability, and integrity. When these values are not instilled at home, it's no wonder that young ones struggle to develop a strong moral compass.
