Margaret, you're the only one still doing proper tutorials instead of just putting makeup on and lecturing/chatting to the viewers at the same time! Thank you ❤
So nice to see someone my age doing her own make up I got lots of tips from you Margaret I hope we stock Cover Girl in New Zealand It is so easy to get stuck in a rut using your old favourites You looked lovely Thank you
Cover girl mascara is I think my favorite. I like the fact that it is in a shade besides black because black looks a little too sloppy on my lashes whereas I find that the brownie color blends right in and does all of what I need it to be. Thank you, Margaret for another interesting tutorial.🤍
You should try the really new "gone viral" Covergirl Foundation the skin perfector essence - very light but nice coverage and looks great on mature skin! I love it!
I would love to try that foundation, but it is not available in Switzerland. To get it to Switzerland I have to spend a lot of money to ship it with a freight forwarder. I will eventually get it if it comes here :-) it does look very very good.
That foundation and blush combo looks very natural. Have you tried the new Covergirl skin tint with the little beads in it? I use Covergirl marcaras every day. Their inexpensive Exact Lash waterproof performs just like Sky High mascara for me. It’s less expensive than Sky High and is less irritating to my eyes than Maybelline.
I’ve used their Olay Cover Girl foundation for years. Don’t know if this is the same product or similar I’ll have a look after I watch your vid. I do love the product I’ve been using. It really helps my mature skin look even and moisturized. It’s light feeling.
Greetings Margaret! This whole look is so pretty on you, especially with your sweater. I have that blush palette and I love it. I've never used it on my eyes, but it looks so nice on you that I think I'll try it! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Dear Margaret love your makeup and peach is so your colour never thought of using blush as eye shadow but it works great unfortunately where I live that brand is more expensive even though it's a drugstore product and the lipstick 💄 looks great on you, have a great day.
I loved the old school Cover Girl eyeshadows in the squared oval pans. There were wonderful colors and some of them were just great formulas. One of my all time favorite blushes was a Cheekers called Watermelon Slice, a netural-cool red-toned pink. That, a green eyeshadow and navy mascara were all the makeup I wore throughout the entire 70's. I was devastated when they discontinued it, haven't ever discovered a dupe for it, just a few close enoughs.
Your tutorials are the best Margaret i love you make it simply approachable to for people like me who have not used makeup I'm thinking about it bought some things too😊 also you're pretty ✨️ 😊
You look totally gorgeous!! I probably won’t be able to apply them as well as you do,,,,,,but I’m going to track down your recommendations and try ! 😱👍
Hi..I am new to your RUclips channel..but have been watching and I ❤ Your down to earth attitude and you have a sweet smile😊..I use Covergirl also..my fav..and the price is great..as we get older it is great to have someone like you to relate to. I am catching up with your other videos thank you and God Bless..
Thank you for sharing your makeup and also applying it. Great job! My issue is the outer third of my eyebrows are completely missing so I have to pencil them in. I’ve never found anything better than an artist’s charcoal sketch pencil. It’s the same color as my eyebrows, so I use it to pencil in the outer third. I use L’Oreal drugstore make up, but may try your favorite Color Girl foundation. Blush and lipstick for me are in the pink tones. The peachy colors are lovely on you.
This is a beautiful look. As a teenager I used the original Covergirl Clean Foundation with the Noxzema scent. Of the Covergirl and Olay Foundations, I prefer the cream foundation in the round glass container. The foundation you're using in this video didn't give me enough coverage. Years ago I sued the blush, I will have to try it again
I purchased the foundation based on your recommendation from your previous video. It is the only one that doesn't peel, cake or make my skin look awful. I find though that I need to mix it with moisturizer to make it sheerer.
Hi Margaret, my everyday go to Covergirl product is Clean Fresh skim milk. shade 350 light medium if you can find it give it a try. I am an American/Australian who has lived in Sydney for 53yrs. Love watching you every morning while having a cup of coffee.
Covergirl was the mother-approved brand for younger teens to begin using makeup when I was growing up-probably because of their “clean and wholesome” branding. They were one of the very first major companies to go 100% cruelty-free and be certified cruelty free by Leaping Bunny. Love your channel!
Hi, so happy to see you doing a review on Covergirl. I’m a peach girl and one of my favorite blushes that I have and I have many is the peach one that you have. I only wish the compact was a little bigger. What lipstick did you put under the Coral Crush lipstick? I thought you said Flower but then you said Covergirl 🤔 thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed this video. Hugs, Dolores. ❤️
Cover girl was the first foundation I ever used. I was in my early twenties. Up until then all I used was eye makeup. I didn’t use it that often because I didn’t like foundation but I did use their blush. I’m glad foundations have become so much lighter and easier to apply.
Thank you Margaret. I never used to wear foundation -guess I was too lazy- 😀but I now use the Cover Girl -Olay 'Simply Ageless' cream foundation which is applied with a round thingy like the ones found in compacts. I love how it covers my redness.
Hi Margaret: Very nice look. However, even though I'm a drugstore gal, I've avoided Cover Girl for one reason..the scent. Everything smells like Noxzema! Now some may like that, but, I prefer fragrance free products. As a teenager, CG foundation had that smell and made me break out. I've heard this one you discuss here is very good for us mature gals, though. Finished look is very pretty. TFS! Rosemarie ❤
I feel just the opposite. Used Cover Girl compact powder starting in the '60's. Loved the scent. Something made me think of it a few years ago, and I rushed out to buy it, and no more scent😢 I was so sad.
That foundation looks fabulous on you. I found this foundation at Target in San Francisco! I love Cover Girl and L’Oréal 24hr Infallible with spf. Both seem to be hydrating and beautiful. 🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽Mia
Agree. I’ve loved it all my life. My mother had multiple skin allergies and could easily use their products: Noxema still always knew what they were doing. 💙 PS: the first foundation you showed is what I use. Sun worshiper til I finally got smarter in my 40s……I get “nice complexion” compliments at age 70. 🤷🏼♀️
I used this facial exfoliating stuff for "men" today...we all have the same skin. Now my skin is smooth and no zits but...maybe I'll need a shave soon...lol...I really don't fuss with myself too much.
Margaret can you recommend a waterproof eyebrow pencil/brush?.. eyebrows falling out!!! looking for a eyebrow product that will stay on...I still get the flushes...oh happy days!!TIA
I'm really surprised that you still sometimes use drying owder blush instead of more moisturizing creme. Also have you ever used Cover Girl Clean Fresh Tinted Lip balm and if you did can you please do a review of it?
I definitely use cream and powder. I find the powder last longer sometimes it’s important. I’m not familiar with the cover girl you mentioned, but I’ll take a look out for it.
@@sixtyandme Thank you for answering me and for giving me the ❤️ sign. I'm really glad that you are out of the host and doing much better and looking it too! I was just going through your recent video titles and I saw that you were in the hospital again.
Margaret, you're the only one still doing proper tutorials instead of just putting makeup on and lecturing/chatting to the viewers at the same time! Thank you ❤
Love watching your videos. Thank you for being there for us 60+ girls.
You are so welcome!
You look lovely. Thanks for the very affordable drug store make up tips.
Really natural using that on your eyes. Lovely.
I’ve used Cover girl tinted moisturizer for years! Just enough coverage and sun protection 😊
So nice to see someone my age doing her own make up I got lots of tips from you Margaret I hope we stock Cover Girl in New Zealand It is so easy to get stuck in a rut using your old favourites You looked lovely Thank you
I order Covergirl on the Amazon au website.
@@douglasramsbottom9665 Thank you for that info Diana
Love the lip color
I love cover girl makeup too.
You do such a brilliant tutorial with a completely natural clean face you look amazing❤❤
Yes, its perfect for you
A fun video! I used Cover Girl as a teenager….will have to give it another look.
I found it in Australia and it is a really nice foundation and reasonably priced.
I have been looking for a good foundation. The Cover Girl looks amazing on you. You look beautiful with or without makeup ❤
Cover girl mascara is I think my favorite. I like the fact that it is in a shade besides black because black looks a little too sloppy on my lashes whereas I find that the brownie color blends right in and does all of what I need it to be. Thank you, Margaret for another interesting tutorial.🤍
Hi Joanne. Yes, I love brown mascara as well. Colored mascara seems to be coming back into fashion. Purple and blue and pink :-)
They were one of the first with sun screen in the foundation. I used it since the 70s
You always look so pretty..!
Wonderful budget video. Thank you, Margaret.❤😊
You are so welcome
by now you're professional Margaret!!!

Margaret this is a fun GRWM video you made me chuckle. Pretty colors.
250 cream (beige) thank you!
Love that foundation you look great with this look.

Yesss, to thinking outside the box. Blush for eyeshadow. Looks great.
I saw a little demo for using lipstick for blush .

I love and use the Covergirl foundation. It’s my go to foundation. My color is Buff Beige.

Cover Girl's Clean Fresh line is unscented.
I have heard good things about cover girl foundations ❤
Honestly, I love them so much. I hope to use anything else these days.

Never tried Cover Girl. Interested in what you have to say
The Covergirl Olay looks great - such a nuisance the brand is so hard to source in UK
I used this facial exfoliating stuff for "men" today...we all have the same skin. Now my skin is smooth and no zits but...maybe I'll need a shave soon...lol...I really don't fuss with myself too much.
What shade do you wear in this foundation?
250
Margaret can you recommend a waterproof eyebrow pencil/brush?.. eyebrows falling out!!! looking for a eyebrow product that will stay on...I still get the flushes...oh happy days!!TIA
The one I use is maybelline tattoo brow gel - it is waterproof and very effective for thinning eyebrows;-)
thanks for the advice and taking the time to answer...have a great day

Hi Margaret, Covergirl is the same as Max Factor 😊
Unfortunately CoverGirl isn't sold in Italy and the prices on Amazon are 10 times the American
Yikes !! The great news is that living in Italy you have so many wonderful products to choose from!
