Nah man, Cavs were supposed to win the title in 2015 as well if it wasn't for Kyrie and Love being injured. GSW never really stood a chance without KD against a healthy Cavs.

the james vs curry has nothing to do with trashtalk.... its about draymond being suspended, curry tossed and injury.
everytime warriors got to the finals but lost is due to injury... look it up.
that year cavs won, they were almost completely tied in total points, like 700-705 but the last 3 games warriors had ejections suspensions and injuries.
draymond got suspending for slapping lebrons nutsack AFTER, lebron commits a foul twice in 3 seconds and THEN jiujitsu-ed draymond to the ground and steps over him.
so bron pulled and shoved draymond (screen) out his way to get to curry, then when curry gets out of there, bron throws draymond on the floor and steps over him and he got no call, not a foul, not a tech... then draymond slaps his balls as bron steps over him and draymond gets a suspension.
that was some real bshit..... not calling 2 fouls and intimidation, but giving a player who reacts to that a suspension.
2019 vs toronto was even worse... 9 injuries in offseason including 2 acls ... how you gonna win with that?

Im 52 years old and have followed the NBA since 1980. This is just my opinion, but by all accounts, Golden State should have ran Cleveland off the court in the Finals.
To me, Cleveland won that championship because they played Old School/1984 Boston Celtic basketball.
Golden State wasn’t mentally ready for it and they folded.
AND I say this as someone that is NOT a Lebron fan. Still gotta give credit where credit is due. That’s legendary stuff.
What is frustrating is that Golden State killed what could have been the modern day Celtics vs Lakers rivalry by begging Kevin Durant to join them.
That would be basically like the Celtics losing to the Lakers in 1987 and then begging Michael Jordan to join them.
It still doesn’t compute with me how how the Warriors and Kevin Durant could do that to the NBA like that.
The warriors probably wouldve won in 2016 had klay not woken up a monster.

That 2016 Finals win doesn't belong to the Cavs, it belongs to the league from Silver to the refs. Proof that certain players are given unnecessary power. LeGone has only won one ring since and that has an asterix because of the huge break everyone got before the bubble. LeGone is extremely overrated, he can break all the records he wants to and his team still doesn't win or get into the playoffs at all. It's time to admit, we were all wrong about LeGone, extremely dead wrong.
