Norfolk Southern MA-20, 4/16/2024: High & Wide Transformer Chase Over Transit

In the middle of the month the typically routine NS MA-20 runs had a slight twist to them as the train was slated to be moving a high and wide transformer load over Transit from Manville to Bridgewater. Being this was another kind of MA-20 move I'd never seen before I decided to sacrifice some sleep and head out trackside to see it.
Following some extra footage taken while I awaited their arrival, MA-20 would emerge out of Manville Yard and come easing through the Bound Brook Station around 12:30am heading for the Raritan Line. Then the chase was on as I managed to catch the train heading west on Transit at Bound Brook & Bridgewater before ultimately arriving at Dameo.
Once there MA-20 would cut away and start their work for the night by setting off the transformer on the GAF property. The transformer would eventually be unloaded there later in the week before being transported to its final destination up the road. In addition to the transformer load, tonight's train would have cars for Dameo.
