Hi Tony! Great video! I know you mentioned that the best way to walk the Girona Murallas is in the South. Is the best way to enter by the Jardins de la Muralla? I am just try to figure it out using Google maps so that I have some sort of idea where to access it when we go for the day in September. Thanks!
Hi really enjoy all your videos! For a day trip to Girona, would a Saturday be too busy? Seems the weekday train availability for end of Sept. starts after noon which is later than preferred. Saturday late Sept has earlier availability. Gracias and your advice is appreciated!
Hello! There might be slightly more people during a Saturday, and you won't find the "menú del día" at restaurants. Otherwise, it's fine. There are trains all throughout the day, if you can't find them it is because they haven't been added to the system yet.
How long did it take to walk along the outer city wall? And was parking difficult or expensive? Considering a short stop on our way out of Barcelona into France. Hoping to see more Portugal info soon as well! Would love tips for Day Trips from Porto and Lisbon!
In maximum 45 minutes you would complete the walk. Parking in the historic centre is not a possibility. You could try parking near the train station. We launched the channel in the midst of the pandemic, which hindered our efforts to begin developing our Portuguese content. We had two trips to Lisbon cancelled by the airline recently, yet another setback. But before the end of the year we should have content on at least Lisbon.
I was there last year in July and we had no difficulty parking, and it was free (as far we could tell). We found a parking space up on the hill in the northern part of town, basically next to the city wall. About a 5 minute walk to the city center.
I'm doing this day trip in about three weeks. I've already purchased my train tickets. Really looking forward to exploring around this town. I'm getting there around 10 and leaving around 6. Tony, does that give me enough time to see the things I will want to see?
You should have time for the most important places for as long as you don't spend a long time having lunch. Ideally, you would return to Barcelona a bit later, but it should be ok.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Thank you Tony! I would love to buy you and your wife a cup of coffee if you would let me. I'm in Barcelona for 5 nights. I'm totally serious! You have been so much help to me!

Hi tony! For a first timer visiting girona what is the best place to visit first? My family and i are planning by walking will be coming from barcelona we plan to do a daytrip . On your video are they all close by and is it walkable.
Hello Tony, I’ve been watching your videos, and they’ve been incredibly helpful as I prepare for my first trip to Barcelona. I have a question for you: I’d like to visit Girona and Tossa de Mar during my trip in the first week of November. Would it be reasonable to stay overnight in Girona and then head to Tossa de Mar the next day, or should I just do a day trip to Girona from Barcelona and go directly to Tossa de Mar from Barcelona ?Given that Girona is a small city, would you recommend an overnight stay? I’ll be staying two nights in Tossa de Mar. Would it make more sense to do a day trip to Girona from Tossa instead of from Barcelona? Please advise.
Hello, Girona has far more content than Tossa. Tossa in November will probably very quiet, with many businesses closed, as it is off season. If you can't spend the night in Girona, dedicate at least the entire day to it. Then take a bus from Girona to Tossa.
Thank you Dani, I think in the case of a vertical video the north south format would have been perfect, but in the case of horizontal video we prefer to make the information we present as clear as possible, and the north south orientation would have forced us to squeeze a lot of data in a small space. All the best!
Dear Tony, if you had the choice to go to Girona on a Saturday or a Sunday, which do you think would be better? Considering that we would like to take the Renfe train service to get there. Does train service work better on one day or the other, and in terms of the Churches to visit in Girona would there be services there on Sundays that would affect the ability to visit them? Thank you so much really appreciate your help.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Thank you so much. I was on the Renfe website to purchase tickets ahead of time. I ask this because I don't know exactly how many hours we will spend in Ginora and at what time we will head back to Barcelona.
