- I removed cleaned and greased the foot pegs on my 2012 Honda NC700X. Same basic procedure on the rest of the Japanese sport bikes motorcycles and some other brands like Triumph.
Thanks for the demo, those Cir -clips are a pain to get off.
Yes and don't forget there's some little tricks like you can put a clear plastic bag around your hand and the part so if it goes flying you won't lose it
Hi, are we able to install the rider peg at the pillion peg position? Thanks.
I don’t believe that the parts can be swapped but you can purchase some super cheap on eBay or Amazon for generic ones
if i dont have any pins can i just reuse the old one? or zipties or something?
@@tzarnaev a zip tie isn’t going to be strong enough just use a nut in a bolt and you’ll be fine on the bottom. If you have some Loctite or glue, you might wanna put that on so it doesn’t unscrew from vibration then you can look at aftermarket pegs which will be an entire assembly
@@pcofranc Thanks for the help! appreciate it
@@tzarnaev you’re welcome and of course you can always go online for like OEM parts and they might sell those pins individually. Also local hardware store or even Home Depot. They often have little bins and sometimes they sell pins like that.
Great guide. Thank you for the guide!
Very informative
Like this guy he is giving us nice bike tutorial pls
I would have stuck some grease in there to waterproof and reduce rust...and bought new split pins...especially for an old bike
I put a little bit of grease in there maybe I forgot to mention it in the video
Ha ha…should have watched this before I did it!
Thanks to replie to my comment
