Here is a step-by-step explanation of how I make these revision notebooks out of flashcards. I like to make these for most of my subjects, today I will be showing you some for IB HL chemistry! I find these super useful when revising and for making summarized notes. Hope you find this useful!

Im not her but what i use to write straight was to write in between the two lines in my notebook
But it's how you get used to wrtiting straight. I started doing that in my notes and it actually looks neater while helping you practice to write straight
Try to practice on clean paper with no lines... Or you can do some drawing practice like drawing straight lines on a clean paper (You need to try to do straight lines on all paper)

Lol this is a freaking waste of time u can learn and make normal notes of 3 chapters if u have the time of making these stuffs. Plus u can save ur money by not buying tapes and stuffs.

@@aelhope6563 i would agree with that, however, the biggest problem is these kind of videos make people think they are actually studying while rewriting notes, when it is really not that useful at all.
if you do this in your free time, i guess it's alright (even though i don't understand why don't people study from the actual book), but so many people tend to do this when they should be studying. this is not studying, this is wasting your time while you could actually be studying

IB Chem wasn’t that hard of a class at my high school. You just have to memorize a bunch of formulas.

I absolutely love this video! And I unfortunately found someone who has re-uploaded the video to their channel, no credits or editing done whatsoever... I found that video by searching "revision notebook" on the youtube search bar and the 20th or so result was a reupload of this video. I wanted to report it myself but apparently you can only report someone if they "stole" one of your own videos. I'm not writing the person's name here because I don't know if I actually can but I wanted to warn you about this and hopefully the person will take down their video.
All this being said, I have binge watched all your videos and absolutely adore them ❤️

Six years ago, I was in my late thirties going back to school to get my degree and came across this. Taking notes in a regular notebook wasn't working for me for whatever reason. I gave this a try and the soothing ritual of completing a card, then adding tape for a new one put my brain in a much better headspace for studying. Managed a full-time career, family caregiver, and full-time college thanks to trying new tricks like this. I managed my time on a strict schedule (with occasional bouts of chaos), but I am so grateful for this video and others like it. Now I use this for project books.
I didn’t think washi tapes were necessary until I watched this!! What a creative and nice way to study❣️

Can someone explain the part where she tapes the index cards together? That part is a little confusing. I made these revision booklets before. Just making sure I'm doing it correctly. Also, do you have any tips to make the tape not get bent inside of it while making the booklet?

I've done this diy, but I've been using them as impromptu sketchbooks or easy-to-make journals/notebooks. Hoping to try a similar method with watercolor paper someday, just mainly using duct tape and elastic to hold it together!

This gave me such inspiration. I made one but i didnt have washi tape and ordinary tape wasnt any good so i used a stapler lol. But it worked well too. The only difference is that i had to staple it after i had written everything on it . But anyway this is my favorite study channel. :)))

Love this tutorial, though I usually use them to make mini notebooks/sketchbooks out of flashcards and washi/Scotch tape, lolz! 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
I think this could also work for various quality/GSM-sized paper and tape (it may depend on what kind of tape is holding it together, such as using small duct tape for watercolor paper).

our teachers often make us do booklets similar to these then we write all the important stuff so we don’t have to bring our books back home when we study before exams. i keep struggling with folding each colored paper and staples that don’t make flipping pages easy then having to remove them to add more pages (+ that one empty page because it’s one paper folded in half), thank you for this!!

Nows its just washi
use regular tape to attach the sheets. I use scotch tape with a matte finish. then I just decorate the side with washi tape.

Hmm I already imagining myself doing this.
° First, I can't place the flash card neatly with the washi tape.
° Second, the flash card book will have uneven edges.
° Third, my handwriting will ruin everything and I GIVE UP
