I have done the barre with Ernst and Rex every day, and it's the best class I've ever found. Ernst is so clear in his demonstration, and Rex literally dances on the keyboard. You've also helped to link our world together through dance. I hope these classes continue even after this pandemic is behind us.
Does anyone else get excited when Ernst says "Well done" even though you know he can't see you? :D I am so grateful to have these videos to come to, especially on days like today when things are tough and the rest of life doesn't seem to be working so well. I have been dancing for 15 years now and can happily say that I do it professionally in my area. When I was younger, I had such a dictator of a ballet. teacher; she made me HATE ballet. I would have breakdowns before ballet class and after. I had anxiety about doing ballet for a few years after as well because of her ways. You, Ernst, have reminded me of how much I do truly love ballet and you help me find all the joy of it again! Thank you so much for doing these online classes. I really hope that after this pandemic is over, you will still do these classes (or at least some of them!) And thank you, Rex! We couldn't do any of these classes without you!! Much LOVE!
