Even when the black human wants to be alone, there is just so much ish going on trying to mess with our yoga (yoga being a metonymy for peace, not just the ritual). I love this song because it speaks to the deep inner healing work that still needs to take place with us black people. But we are too distracted and endlessly disrupted, poisoned by toxic competitive energies rather than comradery spirit of co-operation.
